Haunted Castle and Jack-o’-Lantern Table
Place this haunted castle and table in a wooden clearing for many fall afternoons of fun. Or place in an entry or front porch for great effect when handing out Halloween treats.
Overview
Spray it and they will come! Create an outdoor play area/puppet theater for your upcoming Halloween celebration. Kids will love the central spot for playing games, enjoying snacks and scaring up some good old-fashioned fun.
Kids's Play Table
Rescue a round wooden patio table for a super special place for children to enjoy Halloween snacks. We taped off a jack-o'-lantern face with blue painter's tape and then simply sprayed the table top with a coat of orange paint. Peel back the tape and reveal a happy Halloween face.

How to Make the Castle
A pink, plastic play castle is revived with a coat of purple paint and a black surround made of salvaged lumber and sprayed with chalkboard paint. The result is a clever backdrop that can be a puppet theater, castle facade, and chalkboard drawing station.
Place the structure on a drop cloth, then fill your Wagner sprayer with paint. Spray one or two coats, then let dry.

Decorate
A trip to the craft store will yield all you need. Spiders, scary trees, birds and faux jack-o'-lanterns will look great in and around this haunted mansion. A fun tip is to illuminate the inside with battery operated candles or mini holiday lights. Add some spooky music and come cob webs and enjoy the best Halloween night ever.
