Choosing the right spray tip and nozzle is important because it’ll affect the type of finish you receive on the project. FLEXiO & Control Series HVLP Sprayers: iSpray vs. Detail Finish Nozzle

Wagner FLEXiO and Control series paint sprayers offer several types of nozzles to suit your various project needs. Always refer to your owner’s manual to see which nozzle is best suited for your particular sprayer.

  • The Detail Finish nozzle is ideal for applying a smooth, consistent finish without brush marks. It applies a fine finish on projects like cabinets, crafts, door or other kinds of trims, and furniture. It has a 20 oz. capacity, adjustable flow control, adjustable spray pattern (horizontal, vertical, and round), and can be used with water or oil based materials like stains, sealers, polyurethane, and paints (thinning required).

  • The iSpray nozzle is ideal for spraying broad surfaces and provides a roller-like finish. It can spray most unthinned paints, stains and sealers. It’s perfect for projects like walls, ceilings, fences, decks and more. It has a 1.5 qt. capacity and features multiple adjustable settings to suit project and coating needs including an adjustable material flow control, spray pattern (horizontal and vertical), and spray width. The iSpray nozzle make an 8-12” pattern on wide and 2-4” on narrow. Tip: When spraying narrow, turn down the paint volume for best results.
