Overview
Hey everyone, this is Lindi from Love Create Celebrate! This summer we decided to tackle a HUGE project that we’ve been neglecting for a couple of years: our exterior! Our house is covered in painted wood siding earlier this summer we took on the task of prepping all of the wood siding by sanding and sealing it.

Large Projects are Faster with a Sprayer
This month we had two solid weeks to plug away at the painting, and we decided to jump in. We used our airless paint sprayer, the Control Pro 190 to prime the entire house first (since we had sanded virtually everything) with a tinted primer, and then painted the entire house with the new charcoal colour.
Step #1
It Only Took One Coat
The paint sprayer worked amazingly well! Since we had vertical siding all over the exterior, we got into a rhythm of spraying up one side, down the other side, and then through the middle of each board. It worked so well at getting into the cracks and spaces between boards that we didn’t even do a second coat!
Step #2
Don’t Forget the Details
While we painted the house, we also painted the window frames to give the home a whole new look! We still have a couple more curb appeal projects to finish at the front of the house this year, but the transformation is already amazing!
Step #3
The Completed Project
This sponsored post was created by Love Create Celebrate. We shared the entire process of sanding, using the paint sprayer, and a before and after tour of the home. To see all of the details, visit our post and video tutorial at Love Create Celebrate!
