BASKETBALL ROOM AND TABLE

Gather a few supplies, a couple of gallons of paint and let Wagner paint sprayers ASSIST you in a game winning design.

PREPARE THE ROOM FOR PAINTING

Place plastic or fabric drop clothes over furniture and on floor. Use painters tape to mask off any areas that are not to be painted… like baseboards and trim work. Use tape and drape to cover large areas of walls or window openings that are to stay paint free.

Step 1

UNPACK THE FLEXIO PAINT SPRAYER

Unpack the FLEXiO 2000 Paint Sprayer. Read all instructions including the saddle label which is wrapped around the back of the paint sprayer turbine for informative tips and instructions on operating the sprayer.

Step 2

POUR THE PAINT

Ready the iSpray nozzle buy placing a liner in the sprayer cup and then filling with orange paint. Test the sprayer according to package directions and set the spray pattern on horizontal.

Step 3

CREATE DESIGN, REVIEW AND IMAGE

To create design, review and image of the basketball pattern. Use a yardstick to measure out pattern points for each arc on the wall and then tie a piece of chalk to the 4 ft length of string to create chalk pattern. Tie string to push pin and chalk. Please push pin in center of ball location. Pull sting tight and draw circles on wall.

TAPE WALLS WITH DESIGN

Tape directly over chalk arcs with small 3-inch sections of painters tape until pattern is clearly displayed on wall. To create a sharp, crisp line run plastic burnishing tool over the edges of tape.

Step 5

SPRAY DESIGN ON WALLS

Fill the iSpray nozzle with black latex paint and completely spray over the wall and tape design. Place sprayer on horizontal spray pattern and coat wall with an even coat of paint working in a left to right direction about 6-8 inches from the wall surface. Let wall surface dry thoroughly.

Step 6

REMOVE TAPE

Peel the painters tape from the design working from the top down and cutting the tape pieces as you work to avoid any wet paint smudges.

Step 7

BASKETBALL TABLE MAKEOVER

Use the yard stick to find the center of the table. Draw a two-inch-wide vertical stripe down the center of the table with chalk and place painters’ tape on each side of the chalk line.

Step 8

CREATE BASKETBALL PATTERN WITH TAPE

Create arc patterns on each side of the table. Place push pin in edge of table and attach string with chalk tied to it. Draw chalk across surface of table in arc pattern. Repeat on the opposite side.
Tape off 2-inch pieces of painter’s tape while carefully following the arc pattern.

Step 9

SPRAY TABLE WITH PAINT SPRAYER

Spray over prepared table top with Wagner FLEXiO 2000 Paint Sprayer. Hold the sprayer about 6-8 inches from the surface of the table. Let dry thoroughly and then remove tape to reveal design.
