FLEXiO 2000 is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 246.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Absolutely The Worst! Don't Waste Your Money The reason you use a sprayer vs. using a brush is that spraying is supposed to cover your surface with a texture-free, mirror-flat layer of paint. This plastic toy does the opposite; it basically spits drops of paint that dry to an ugly orange-peel texture. It also clogs frequently and will suddenly switch from spitting tiny drops to spitting huge loogies of paint which will ruin whatever you're working on. I've sprayed a lot of paint in my life and nothing I've ever used produces a worse finish than this plastic toy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use! I bought the FLEXiO 2000 to help spray my cedar fence. Instructions were clear and it was easy to use. It made staining my fence a breeze and cleanup wasn’t difficult either. The sprayer is reasonably priced, too, which means it was well worth the extra cost (over and against brushes and rollers) to have fence looking nice and protected against the elements with much less effort and time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use and very versatile! I purchased this sprayer to use on a new fence install. Super easy to use. Just buy the paint, plug in, and spray. No thinning. No special setup. Works great with all paint and stains. Cleanup was super easy as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use I had to repaint a bedroom as part of a renovation in my house. I wasn't happy with the old paint tray and roller method, and using a paintbrush takes forever. So I bought a sprayer. It took a few passes to figure out the best way to quickly and efficiently paint, but this sprayer is efficient and easy to use. I used outdoor paint which is thicker but the sprayer handled it well. I didn't run into any clogging problems. Additionally, I used it to spray the ceiling and the sprayer did not flinch. Paint goes where you want it and the controls are easy to figure out. Even with a full paint reservoir the unit is not too heavy to use one-handed. The cord is adequate in length so I didn't have to put it on an extension to get the full wall height. It is easy to clean and won't bust your bank account. A word of caution: this sprayer creates a very fine paint mist. Wear eye protection AND respirator! The little paper masks you see at paint counters won't cut it. Coveralls highly recommended as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best purchase I have ever made! I recently tried to paint all the rooms in my house with a roller and brush. After the first ceiling I almost gave up and called in a professional. I saw a wagner paint sprayer video online, the products looked simple to use. I found the Flexio 2000 at my local hardware store for a good price. I am terrible with power tools, but the videos convinced me to give this a try. I practiced on a piece of cardboard and was amazed at how quickly I got the hang of it. I painted the first ceiling quickly with no problems at all. I am amazed at how easy the Flexio 2000 is to use. It made painting quick and easy. Trust me, if I can figure this out...anyone can use the Flexio 2000. Clean up was a breeze, the manual helped ensure I didn't miss cleaning any of the parts. Best of all, once cleaned.. it was simple to reassemble. This sprayer is amazing.

Can I spray both primer and later exterior paint on the same unit

Asked by: Xavier
The iSpray Nozzle/front end, that comes with the sprayer, will spray most coatings including latex paint and stains unthinned. It is ideal for big surface projects such as spraying walls, sheds, fences etc… It will provide a roller-like or slightly stippled finish. Some paints and primers may need to be thinned so I would try it on a spare piece of wood or cardboard first. You can thin it with water and add paint conditioner to the coating to slow down the dry time and help it flow better. The better the coating is mixed up the better it will spray. How do I get the white tub off after use

Asked by: JoeH
When you use an HVLP the paint cup is pressurized with air. This is what pushes paint out of it. It also creates a great seal around the threads of the cup. If the cup is stuck, it's because of the pressure and/or dried paint in the threads. I have two old timer tricks for you. You can wrap your leather belt tightly around the lowest part of the cup and use it as a lever to unscrew the cup. Or, get a bucket of hot water, deep enough to submerge the threaded portion of the front end for two minutes. The heat will cause the plastic to contract/expand and should break that connection making it easier to unscrew. For more help call us at 1-800-328-8251.

I need to paint a wrought-iron fence. Can I use this?

Asked by: NC2010
Yes you can use this sprayer with latex paint. If you thin it 5% with water, it will spray even better. Power up and paint flow lower for better atomization.

Are the Flexio paint sprayers HVLP sprayers or air less? How do they spray un-thinned latex which can’t be done with most HVLP spray systems. You have to thin even with a larger air tip.

Asked by: grundyk
HVLP = High Volume Low Pressure air. With our Flexio HVLP sprayers and the iSpray front end nozzle (2.5mm) you can spray most latex paints unthinned and it will result in a roller like texture. For a smooth texture, use the Detail Finish nozzle with latex painted thinned 10% with water. For more application tips call us at 1-800-328-8251.
