To make the saltwash finish: In the detail sprayer paint cup add 1 cup of water, 1/8 cup white latex paint, and 1 scoop of salt wash powder. Mix thoroughly with a paint stick until smooth. Then, hold the sprayer six-to-eight inches away from the basket and spray the surface completely with the Saltwash in an even coat. This mixture is thinner than paint and will require that you hold the sprayer at a further distance for the best coverage.
