Painting Our Playhouse Interior in Less than 30 Minutes
Learn how to paint an update a playhouse interior to look at good at your own home! Get the job done quickly with a Wagner sprayer.
Hey everyone, this is Lindi from Love Create Celebrate. We live in Canada where the summer season is short, so we try to take advantage of every minute. This summer my husband and I decided to tackle an outdoor project for our kids and built them an “ultimate playhouse”.
Prep the interior
We’re not just building a simple wood frame! Since we do live in a place with such cool climates, we wanted our kids to be able to use the outdoor playhouse for more than three months of the year, and we didn’t want to have to spend a ton of time doing maintenance on the playhouse so we went with strong, durable finishes.
Just like a tiny home we added siding outside, and insulation inside. Once we had the inside all boarded up, we caulked the seams, puttied the holes, and sanded everything to get ready for paint.
Seal windows and doorway
When we were ready to paint we turned to our Wagner FLEXiO 5000 Paint Sprayer to make the job easy. We sealed up the windows and the doorway with tape and vapour barrier and that was all the prep work needed!
Spray primer and paint
We used the FLEXiO 5000 to spray our primer first, and after that we set, we used it to spray our paint as well, coating the ceiling, walls, and window frames with the same colour.
Save time with a Wagner sprayer
We are always so happy with how our FLEXiO 5000 works! We did both coats of our playhouse in about 30 minutes each, which saved us a ton of time!
