Overview on Painting an Outdoor Playhouse
My name is Jacki with a lifestyle blog called Crazy Life with Littles. We bought our home 6 months ago and have tackled so many indoor DIY projects. With the weather warmer now, we started to move to outdoor projects, like re-painting our kid’s plastic outdoor playhouse.

Pressure wash playhouse
Our playhouse is stored outdoors and needed to be cleaned thoroughly. We used our pressure washer to get off all the dirt and mold that had accumulated.
Once all the pieces are dry, take a sanding block and give it a quick rough sand to remove any of the gloss. This will allow the primer and paint to adhere better. Dust off with a microfiber cloth.
Step 1

Spray primer using a paint sprayer
Apply your oil-based primer using the Wagner FLEXiO 3000 Paint Sprayer. You will need to thin this primer before spraying. In order to thin the primer, slowly add mineral spirits and use a wire whisk to incorporate together.
Step 2

After painting assemble the playhouse
It’s time to paint! Assemble your Wagner FLEXiO 3000 Paint Sprayer and add paint color of your choice. There’s no need to thin this paint.
