Glue the Crayons to a Canvas
Start by gathering the crayons you want to use for your melted crayon art piece. You can coordinate the colors or have a fun, rainbow theme! There are countless color combinations you can come up with. Once you’ve chosen your crayons, remove the paper and then hot glue each crayon side by side onto a canvas.

Melt the Crayons with a Heat Gun
Next, attach your reflector nozzle to your FURNO Micro heat gun and turn on the heat gun to the high setting. Start by slowly moving the heat gun along the tips of the crayons. The high heat easily melts the crayon tips, while the reflector nozzle prevents the heat from melting the entire body of the crayon. In seconds, you’ll see the wax drip down your canvas in fun colors and streams!

Melt the Crayons until the Design is Complete
Continue moving the heat gun along the crayon tips until the desired design is achieved. When you’re done, simply turn off your heat gun and marvel at your new art piece! The wax dries almost instantly so it’ll be ready for display within minutes after completion.
