The Fastest and Easiest Way to Paint Wicker Furniture
Paint your outdoor wicker furniture the easy way by using a Wagner paint sprayer. A fresh coat of paint brings new life to worn and outdated furniture.
Overview
Nothing beats wicker porch furniture for comfort and beauty, but it really takes a beating when it’s exposed to the sun and weather. My vintage pieces have been painted black and usually need to be recoated every year in order to look their very best.

Grab your spray gun
When it’s time to give our wicker porch furniture a new coat of paint, without a doubt the fastest and easiest method is to use my Wagner FLEXiO paint sprayer.

Start with a clean, dry surface
The FLEXiO is perfect for all projects, large and small. For wicker and wrought iron, start with a clean, dry surface.

Use the iSpray nozzle and paint
For this particular project, I opted to use the FLEXiO’s iSpray nozzle and used unthinned black latex paint. The FLEXiO is incredibly versatile since you can use it indoors and outdoors for projects large or small, and it sprays paint or stain.
It also applies coatings 12X faster than a brush, so painting all of my porch furniture only took me about 10-15 minutes. If you’ve ever tried painting wicker with a brush, you know that it takes forever!

Enjoy your refreshed patio furniture!
One of the very best things about the FLEXiO sprayer is that clean up is fast, as in it only takes me about five minutes. After all the pieces were rinsed, I packed the sprayer away in the included accessory bag and got down to enjoying my porch!
