If you pull the sprayer trigger on your Wagner Control Pro or Titan Control Max airless sprayer, and nothing comes out or you’re not getting a consistent spray pattern. A clogged sprayer tip is usually the issue, as it’s one of the most common issues users come across when airless spraying.
Here’s an easy fix for clogged airless sprayer tips:
-Power on the sprayer
-Set the knob to the spray position
-Paint the sprayer towards an empty bucket, or a large piece of cardboard
-Ensure the trigger lock is on, then turn the green spray tip so the wide part of the flag is facing forward and the narrow part is pointed to the rear
-Then pull the trigger to try to clear the clog
-Lastly, turn the tip around, and try spraying again
If you continue to get clogs throughout your project:
-You may want to consider replacing your spray tip, or going to a larger size
-If you’re painting outdoors, you may need to cover your paint bucket with a wet towel to prevent the sun from creating a dry paint layer in the bucket
