Setting up your Wagner Control Pro 130 High Efficiency Airless Sprayer is quick, and only takes only a few minutes. Watch the video above, or follow this step-by-step guide to simplify the process.

Step 1 – Assembly

Remove components stored in the tank, and attach the hose to the unit, and spray gun with wrenches.

Step 2 – Tank Filter

Push the filter tab twice. Clears inlet for priming.

Step 3 – Pre-Priming

Add tap, or distilled water to the tank, and turn the prime/spray knob to the prime position. Power on the unit, and purge the hose. When complete, return the hose to its original position, and power off the unit.

Step 4 – Prime With Paint

Fill the tank with paint, and run the pump until the paint flows through the tube. It’s best to do this into the paint bucket. Power off the unit, and return the hose to its original position when paint consistently flows through the tube.

Step 5 – Attach Lid

Attach the lid, power on the unit, turn knob to spray, unlock the spray gun, and spray into the paint bucket. Then power off the unit.

Step 6 – Attach Spray Tip

Thread the tip guard onto the spray gun, and insert the spray tip. Power the unit on, and ensure the knob is turned to spray. Then unlock the spray gun for spraying.

Airless Sprayer Tips

Even if it’s not your first time paint spraying, we suggest test spraying on a large piece of cardboard, or the included Wagner spray poster before beginning your project. If this is your first time, practicing helps familiarize yourself with spraying.
