Rated 4 out of 5 by from 590 review quick easy way to paint... clean well after use seems to add to longevity and quality of job...i really like the 590 for exterior work...this weekend is cabinet spraying....nothing is perfect but for 200$ you can apply a lot of paint in a short period of time...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works good. Afterservice with Wagner is excellent! I used this spray gun to do my basement ceiling. It was blocy at first but after adding a tiny bit of water, it worked great until I drew paint up in the turbine. I called customer service and spoke to Han who was very understanding and responsive. She sent me a new unit and I finished the job without issue. She gave me a tip that really should be in the manual - never remove the paint jar from the gun, always remove the entire tip from the main unit, then remove the paint jar. I believe this is how I ended up ruining the paint gun. If you haven't sprayed paint before, it is rather messy so I'm not sure why one would choose to do walls with this, unless it is completely new construction. But for an open ceiling like I had, it saved days of work! I'm happy with this sprayer and will use it to do my deck and fence this summer!! Great after service with Wagner, I highly recommend this company!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Saved me time, with proper reading & prep Project: 20 X 27' Deck Stain (oil actually) Having invested the time to waterproof by brush a deck at a previous house I researched a few different tools and read dozens of reviews and videos. Settled on Flexio 590 (which I happened to find on sale) due to what I felt was its diversity for paint types and surfaces. I estimate I was able to stain the deck in about half the time, including prep either way. Some videos suggested the gun sputtered at startup, and it did. Having read the instructions, I was able to take advantsge of the different adjustments and it worked well. We'll eventually see how it fairs on a wall....

Rated 2 out of 5 by from short longevity This is my second Wagner paint sprayer. The first one of 15 years ago lasted 12 years. I bought the 590, used it for 4 jobs, about 20 hours, and it is dead. Very disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk, do not buy! Worked great out of the box. After a THOROUGH cleaning, next time globs of paint spew out, another complete disassemble and cleaning, same thing. It is literally impossible to clean this thing as if it is brand new out-of-the-box, that is the only way it works well. Into the dumpster.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from flexio 590 what a piece of junk used it twice and stopped working in the middle of a job and it wont turn on anymore.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible experience - BEWARE! I bought this a few years back for a painting job that I ended up not having to do, and I kept it in great storage conditions since then. I finally pulled it out to refinish a kitchen table top. I read the instructions, and I watched three hours of YouTube videos. I had the table top sanded down beautifully. I loaded the paint sprayer container, practiced on included target sheet, and then went to spray the table top. Following the instructions, I pulled the trigger just a bit to get the air flowing and then it happened - huge globs of paint begin “burping” out on to the pristine table top. It was a mess - A COMPLETE DISASTER! This happened on the second coat as well. And, after calling customer service and doing what they suggested, it happened when I applied the water-based lacquer. HORRIBLE!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Leaks and just doesn't turn on I've had this for about 3 years now, and I've used it only a handful of times because it's terrible. It's a complete waste of money. It leaks terribly and will spray for 5 minutes then completely shut off. I tried trouble shooting but just ended up wasting paint, time and energy. It's going in the trash. I'll never buy another Wagner product because they would likely be as useless as this after the first use.

I sprayed about 10 gallons of solid stain & the motor quit working.  Is there a reset switch or is it fried?

Asked by: Aaronks
Did stain get back in to the motor? If you remove the front end nozzle assembly from the turbine can you see stain inside? Feel free to call us at 1-800-328-8251 and we will assist you.

i am going to be staining my fence with Thompson semi transparent seal and stain, with my new Flexio 590. My question is would I need to thin the seal and stain before use

Asked by: Anonymous
You should use the iSpray front end nozzle for the fence project and you will not have to thin the stain. Power up high and paint flow lower for better atomization. Spray from 6-10" away. Good luck with your project.

What is the difference between the Flexio 590 and the 3000?

Asked by: GCH02
The main difference between the FLEXiO 590 and FLEXiO 3000 is the design of the iSpray front end. The new nozzle designed iSpray front end will provide paint control with a uniform and contained pattern. Also, the new paint flow dial is numbered for precise and easy setting for the range of coatings the FLEXiO can spray and easy clean up. Feel free to call us at 1-800-328-8251 if you have any further questions.

Do you all have a tubing kit to allow the sprayer to connect to a gallon of 5 gallon container?

Asked by: MN aztec
There is no suction tube available to allow you to draw out of a larger container as this sprayer does not actually "suck" anything. The turbine pressurizes the container which pushes the paint up the tube. Feel free to call us at 1-800-328-8251 if you have any further questions.

Hi, I am interested with the Wagner Flexio 590 or 570 sprayer. In my city the power supply is AC 220V 50 Hz, can I use this sprayer directly from the wall socket? Is there any export model selling through the Amazon which is using AC 220V?

Asked by: CK1447
For the North American market our tools are made with 110V connections. Most of the rest of the world uses 220V, so all of our tools sold outside of America would match. Please don't purchase the 110V version and try to use a power convertor. Here is a link to one retailer in the UK - https://www.paintsprayer.co.uk/wagner

I have a Flexio 590 paint sprayer. I was wondering if I can spray a MINWAX water based type polyurethane/polycrylic in the sprayer? If so there any hints I should know about?

Asked by: RobertTG
Yes you can use water based or oil based polyurethane in the 590. We suggest the Detail Finish front end nozzle for a fine finish. Power up high and paint flow low for better atomization. Spray from 6" away and apply a wet coat with each pass. For more tips call us at 1-800-328-8251.

Can acrylic exterior paint be used in Flexio 3000 sprayer without thinning?

Asked by: White Shed
Yes it can. The Flexio 3000 comes with two front end nozzles. The iSpray nozzle is for your fence, deck and walls and will leave a roller like texture with unthinned latex/acrylic paints. The Detail Finish nozzle is for your trim, furniture and cabinets when using thinned latex/acrylic paints. For more help call us at 1-800-328-8251.

how to clean sprayer for oil based paint

Asked by: Kriste
Use mineral spirits to clean with the same process as cleaning with water. Use a tray and gloves as it will be messier than with water. For more details call us at 1-800-328-8251.
