Flexio 4000 Sprayer

$ 189.99
The FLEXiO 4000 stationary paint sprayer is perfect for longer painting projects, with less weight in your hand, because the motor is housed in the base on the ground. It has variable speeds for cutting time and effort on painting projects and can paint a wall 11 times faster than a brush.

The 4000 comes with 2 different nozzles – one for painting multiple rooms, decks and sets of furniture. The other nozzle for fine finishing on cabinets and trim. The new nozzle design delivers an improved spray pattern and adjustable control with less mess and overspray.

It has the flexibility to spray indoors and outdoors with the power to spray unthinned paint and stains with full coverage. Cleaning is faster than a brush or roller with just a few removable parts that separate and rinse clean.

Covers an 8’x10’ surface in minutes:
-Stain: 1 minute
-Latex: 5 minutes

Flexio 4000 is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 35.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tool Facing the task of painting twelve doors (four are louvered bifold) and many shelves I decided to purchase this tool. My initial use was with primer. Second was with latex enamel. In each case the paint went on good with no thinning required. I did have to make flow adjustments,as expected. Cleanup was quick and easy. I painted two bi-fold doors and six medium shelves, with cleanup, took less time than painting one of the doors by brush. In fact less time than cleaning a paint brush and roller. Yes over spray does appear to waste paint. But the cost of the paint loss compared to the time saved is acceptable.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Unit brought me pain whilst ceiling painting Second use on ceilings to n my house. First room was last week and the Flexio 4000 performed well. After about 2 gallons of spraying yesterday it was spit clog and poor spray pattern. Cleaned nozzle and air passages and then noticed the unit was spewing paint with the trigger released... Sometimes this was a lot of volume. Stopped work and went thru the cleaning procedure.. Dunked the valve head on warm soapy water, cleaned with brush... Reassembled and ran for a time before spewing again... And poor pattern onto ceiling. Arrgh! Today after an all night soak with the trigger held open to get cleaning water in there, I reassembled the unit to repaint over the 35 by 25 foot area of bad application and did a water test into the shower... Wuff! Spewed water when no finger on the trigger! So I repainted a 50 by 25 foot ceiling with my Wagner smart sidekick power roller in have the time it took this futzy sprayer to do a lousy job. I conferred with another Flexio owner and he reports the same spew issue with his unit... Seems the material release valve opened by the trigger does not seal once the unit has a few gallons through it. Since Tec Support was closed by the time I could call them, I decided to post this review. I need to know from Wagner of the material flow valve can be cleaned.. Do I need to disassemble the trigger and pull out the back end of the head unit to fix this thing? I suspect Wagner doesn't do field testing of these Chinese made Flexio units... Otherwise they would have encountered what looks to be a design flaw!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from YUP AND YUP New to the paint sprayer game and this unit is the absolute Ballz! very easy to use and clean. Clear coated a beamed ceiling in 30 min. Stop researching now and buy the sprayer. 5 stars, 2 thumbs up, hole in one, bingo!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very easy to use This made painting my wooden farm fences easy. The long hose was great as I could move along quickly. The only change I would suggest would be have an adaptor so you could pull paint out of a pail.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible This has been a piece of junk from the beginning. I could never get it to spray an even coat, always had at least a little sputter that created an uneven finish. Especially for how much it cost, it really should be much better!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor spray pattern Bought product at Lowes after doing a great deal of research. A customer at Lowes recommended the Flexio 4000. I used it to paint an interior room with Sherwin Williams flat paint and it took a very long time. The best spray pattern was no more than 3 to 4 inches. I could have rolled the walls alot faster. Easy to use and clean, but I could not get a larger pattern and had to refill the container quite often.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product. I purchased this particular unit because I was looking for a spray gum that wasn’t too heavy. While you have to contend with being hooked up to the turbine hose, they guns are very easy to hold and use. I built a small wheeled platform to store the turbine on and it’s very easy to move around a room. While I have only used latex paint, both guns were very easy to clean with warm soapy water. The finished paint job came out very nice. Two coats of latex paint and a clear coat was easy to spray with just very fine sanding between coats. The finish was awesome. Good value for the money spent. Got mine at Lowes on sale.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprised me I bought flexible 4000 with not a lot of high expectations. But when I opened it and sprayed a section of wall outside my house I was truly surprised at the ease of use and the coverage with such little amount paint. Also amazed at how easy to clean up. Glad I purchased.

I'm looking to buy either the 4000 or 5000 sprayer. Doesn't look to be much of a difference but the 4000 hose a longer hose?? I want to use it to paint my house and over hangs, but also my kitchen cabinets. I have an airless don't like overspray/cleanup..

Asked by: Scootter
Correct. The 4000 has a longer hose, the 5000 has hard case storage, otherwise they are the same.

Will this handle enamel based paints? I am using Valspar enamel cabinet paint. It says not to thin.

Asked by: JLCGOLD
The Flexio 4000 will handle the Valspar enamel cabinet paint. If you are using the Detail Finish Front End, you might have to dilute this paint to get a smooth finish. Please give us a call at 1-800-328-8251 and we will able to assist you.

Can the Flexio 4000 spray BEHR Alkyd Semi Gloss Enamel. Behr suggests using an airless sprayer with a tip of .013" to .017". Also no thinning.

Asked by: Bay Area Skymaster
Behr tech support suggests that HVLP does not work well with their paints. Take a look at our HEA sprayers - https://www.wagnerspraytech.com/?s=hea

Looking to use this in cabinets with Benjamin Moore Advanced paint, any recommendations?

Asked by: Haskins19
Use the Detail finish front end for a fine finish and thin the paint about 5-10% with water. You can also 1 ounce of Floetrol to help it level easier. Adjust the sprayer for no spitting, spray from 6" away applying a wet coat with each pass. Lay the project down and spray down on it for the easiest, best finish possible. For more tips on spraying technique call us at 800-328-8251.

I am painting my kitchen cabinets using Sherwin Williams ProClassic Interior Waterbased Acrylic-Alkyd. Will this sprayer handle this paint and can I use the detail sprayer to get smooth finish

Asked by: Scott1180
The Flexio 4000 will handle this paint. The Flexio 4000 comes with the Detail finish nozzle, the Detail finish nozzle is best used on your fine finish projects such as spraying cabinets, furniture, doors, trim etc. It will provide a smoother, finer finish than the iSpray Nozzle. Depending on your material, the Detail Finish Nozzle may require some thinning of your material in order to spray properly.

I've used your Flexio 4000 on multiple projects, no problems. Was spraying the walls in my garage and realized paint was coming out the tip even though I wasn't pressing on the trigger. I cleaned the gun, no difference. Any suggestions.

Asked by: Biker Bill
Try to tighten the retaining ring on the front. It's loose and allowed the nozzle to move away from the needle and when under pressure, it pushes paint out in a stream. For more help call us at 800-328-8251.
