Update a Tired Porch Swing in No Time
Refresh a tired porch swing with a few coats of paint using the Wagner FLEXiO paint sprayer.
Overview
If you are looking to update your tired porch swing out outdoor furniture to enjoy the outdoor months then a fresh coat of paint will do the trick.
Gather supplies
The tools and materials needed for this project are listed at the bottom of the page.
Clean swing
Start by cleaning your swing well. Use a soft but firm bristle brush to knock out all the dust and dirt that has accumulated over the years. A clean surface is important for paint to adhere properly.
Prep sprayer
Get your FLEXiO paint sprayer ready and filled with the paint of your choice. Wagner cup liners make clean up easy for this step. Be sure your paint is mixed well with a Wagner paint stir paddle.
Spray swing
When spraying your swing be sure to hold the spray nozzle the same distance from your paint.
Allow paint to dry completely in between coats and before flipping your swing around to paint the other side.
