How to Stencil a Window Screen
The use of a Wagner paint sprayer to stencil designs reinvents the technique creating crisp and sharp design renditions easily and quickly.
Overview
Add summer charm and whimsy to any outdoor screen by embellishing it with a stencil. We added the dandelion stencil to a window screen, but you could do the same thing to a screen door or pantry cupboard.
Clean screen
Clean and dust off the screen using a dusting brush.

Tape stencil
Attach a stencil to the screen using painter's tape.

Spray
Then, spray over the design until stencil cutouts are covered with paint. Stencil your design on the inside of the screen to help protect paint from the weather.

Remove and install
Remove the tape and install the screen in a window casing. Stenciling is an old design style that dates back to Egyptian times. The design style is often used in place of fancy and expensive wall coverings and was used to add personal style to interiors that were somewhat boring. The use of a Wagner paint sprayer reinvents the technique creating crisp and sharp design renditions easily and quickly.
