How to Paint Paper Mache Easter Eggs

A paint sprayer and quick trip to the local crafts store is all you need to create these paper mache eggs, a very popular Easter home decor.


Create designs with tape

Tape off the paper mache eggs with blue painter’s tape with your desired design.

Hang egg

Place a small cup hook in each end of the egg and tie strings to each hook. Hang the egg in front of a white foam core spray protector, or use a small craft spray shelter.

Spray egg

Spray the paper mache easter eggs and then let them dry thoroughly.


Remove tape

Remove the painter’s tape from the eggs to uncover crisp, detailed designs.
