DIY Valentine’s Day Candy

Upcycle your Christmas candy canes into sweet DIY Candy Heart Lollipops with a Wagner heat gun.

Tools & Materials for Making Candy Heart Pops

  • Wagner FURNO Heat Gun
  • 12 candy canes in various styles
  • Sharp paring knife
  • Paint brush
  • 2 cups white melting chocolate
  • Colorful candy sprinkles
  • Parchment paper
  • 6 lollipop sticks

Arrange two candy canes in a heart shape on a clean surface.

Heat the straight ends of the candy canes on low heat for 30 seconds. With a sharp paring knife, carefully cut about 1 inch off the end of each candy cane.

Arrange the cut candy canes on parchment paper and place a lollipop stick at the base of the candy cane heart. Heat the candy canes over low heat again for 1 minute until the candy becomes soft and bendable. With your fingertips, press the warmed candy together at the top and bottom of the heart to make a frame for the chocolate.

Pour melted white chocolate into the middle of the heart.

Sprinkle the melted chocolate with colorful sugars and jimmies. Let harden for two hours.

Tie with ribbon or shrink wrap in plastic using the heat gun.
