DIY Mobile Garden Planter
Learn how to make a mobile garden planter from scratch and paint it using the FLEXiO 3000 paint sprayer
Build planter frame
Build the frame of the planter with 2x4 sides (8’ long), 2x4 cross braces (25” long), and 4x4 posts (36” long). Attach with wood glue and exterior-grade screws.

Paint frame with paint sprayer
Spray the assembled frame in your primary color with your Wagner FLEXiO 3000 Paint Sprayer. The FLEXiO 3000 is the ideal option when tackling projects like this. It has the flexibility to spray indoors and outdoors with the power to spray unthinned paint and stains with full coverage. Cleaning is faster than a brush or paint roller with just a few removable parts that separate and rinse clean.

Cut shelf and spray with secondary color
Cut the 1x4 bottom shelf slats at 25” long, paint them in your secondary color with your FLEXiO 3000 sprayer, and attach them to the frame with a nail gun.

Attach to planter base
Spray the 1x12 planks in your secondary color, then attach them all the way around the top of the planter. Finish the look by attaching trim pieces on the corners. Lay down 2x4s (32”) inside the planter box to form the garden bed.
