Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Machine for preice I purchased the Wagner 915 to clean the grout lines in my house. When the machine is up and running, it does a fantastic job at cleaning the grout. Ground in dirt comes out fairly easy. You do have to use a bit of "elbow grease" to help in the process, but not much. I also used the machine to clean the glass in our stand alone shower. The squeegee attachment worked great! I also intend to use it to clean off the brake dust on my car wheels and clean our finished garage floors, but have not yet. My only complaints for this machine are: 1. I would like the machine to be designed like a vacuum cleaner in that the unit has storage locations/mounts for all the accessories. 2. A bit of a longer electrical cord. 3. Wagner making it easier to purchase the bristle brushes, as I went through 3 of the 4 in cleaning our kitchen. (They have to be ordered online...no one has them in stock.) 4. Possibly add a pressure release valve to allow pressure out faster so you can re fill the water tank. NONE of these negatives take away from my recommendation of this product. Cannot beat the price and quality!

Hello, I am interested in purchasing a Wagner 915 steam cleaner. I have a question about lead exposure. I read that this product can expose you to lead. How and why is that? Thank You

Asked by: Anuta83
This disclaimer is a mandatory State of CA warning label placed on all products with potential to expose users to toxic building materials. Lead was used in wall paint manufacturing as late as 1978, so if using the wall paper removal attachment on a wall with lead paint underneath it could potentially expose a user to toxic levels of lead. Real estate agents are required to make a renter or buyer aware if lead is suspected; often this is referred to as a "Lead Addendum" in mortgage or lease documents. Paperwork can be overlooked sometimes so it may not be a bad idea to triple-check the year a building was built if it is not newer construction; this information can be verified on the local County Assessor's website if unknown. In Oregon, if any habitable structure has lead, the owner is legally obligated to hire a licensed abatement specialists for any sized demolition because they wear specialized protective gear and have specialized containers to haul contaminated materials offsite to dumps dedicated to treating toxic waste. The most certain way to confirm the presence of lead, asbestos or any other toxic material in a building is to call an abatement specialist for testing.

Mine has two holes, in which am i supposed to add in the water? Do I need to add some type of detergent to the water?

Asked by: J Fortin
The water goes in the hole underneath the cap in the compartment under the lid. You unscrew the cap and add water. Nothing should be added to the tank except water unless you are cleaning the steamer. Feel free to call us at 1-800-328-8251 if you have further questions.

I need to use a vacuum on the same circuit that runs about 950watts. Once the water is fully heated, will the heating element turn back on during the 45min run time and trigger the 15amp breaker? If so, is there a solution to this problem?

Asked by: Need help
Yes the heating element continues to run in order to keep the water at a high temperature to create steam. You'll have to separate the two tools circuits.
