Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice, powerful machine for size Bought nearly 2 months ago, used for second time today. Cleans great. Will be trying it on wallpaper in months to come. This replaced our rather old other Brand machine that would not put out much steam even after some vinegar treatments. ( Time for new) 2 dissapointments are the cord lenght, VERY short, TOO short and only comes with one cleaning pad. Even 2 more feet of cord would be nicer. Before buying extra pads we tried the old ones from other machine, not a fit, but they do work,, we have several of those to keep using. overall so far like it a lot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WOW!!! The only negative thing to say is that the power cord is too short! From the box to the kitchen floor. Went right work on the grout. Fast, Efficient and so easy to use!! Grout has never looked better! Went from Kitchen to both bathrooms, grout, tile, trim, shower, tub. Having so much fun I went out and did the grill. Great job! Highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a steamer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best item for household cleaning bar none! Have had our Wagner 915 for at least four years. Use it to steam clean everything including the inside of our refrigerator after a rotted food incident. Cleaning and sanitizing uses are unlimited but do be careful not to use on electronic parts or electronic devices. Just read about using at the base of all floors and carpeting for helping with insect control (and bed bugs which thankfully we do not have nor ever want to have). Do your research you will be impressed. Use distilled water! I do recommend getting extra nozzle brushes as you will use this so much that they will need to be replaced. A larger funnel is also helpful. Do not leave unit with water inside for long periods. Also, every once in a while clean the tank with 8 parts white vinegar and 8 parts water (do not turn on unit while doing this) and let sit overnight especially if you see gray residue when you dump water.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Product Steamer works good so far, especially for Wall Paper Removal. It can not constantly deliver the full Steam Amount.. If you do steaming and scrapping in a specific Cycle, the Unit will have enough Time for Recovery. It is still acceptable. If the current Trigger Valve would be a remote controlled Valve located directly at the Main Unit, perhaps the Condensate in the Hose could be reduced and lees hot Water would come out at the Restart of the Steam Cycle. There is now Cable or Hose Management for storing the Unit in a proper Way, great Accessories, but not even a Back to store them.

Have tried 2 models of steamers...this brand more durable....upgraded to 915 from 905 but disappointed that it lacked trigger holder & apparatus to hold handle extension in place in berween steaming floors & cloth included barely covered floor attachment to stay in place.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buy this! Bought for wallpaper, but now I use it for everything---tile, counter tops, showers, windows!!! We purchased this steamer after buying a house that was a total redo and had lots of bad wallpaper to remove. It has been helpful with the wallpaper for sure, but we then tried it on the ceramic tile's grout lines on the kitchen island and were amazed (and horrified) at the dirt we got up. Our house now has tile floors throughout and we have two golden retrievers. I just steamed the kitchen and living area floors and kept a mop with a pail of water handy to wipe up the water and dirt that the steamer creates. I was amazed (and horrified) at how quickly the mop water became dirty and was equally horrified that we had been walking around on that dirty unknowingly even though I am constantly vacuuming and mopping. And our tile looks beautiful again. I've used the squeegee to steam windows outside and it works great too. It is easy to use, just pour in the distilled water and wait about 15 minutes. Wonderful and the price is right!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The fill valve no longer opens it just spins I've only used my steamer a few times and I liked it. Unfortunately I just went to use it and when I tried to unscrew the fill valve it never opens, it just spins around and around. I'm guessing the nob has broken off of the actual closing thread. I am hoping it can be fixed and have contacted Wagner. I'm sad it broke as it did work really well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for grout I purchased this steamer after a fair amount of research into steam cleaners. I like that the steam has some power behind it to blow away dirt. So far I've used it on the grout on a tile floor and in the bathroom. For the grout, it has been amazing. Nothing seemed to get our grout clean, and with very little effort this blows away the dirt that I thought was there forever. We finally see white grout again. It's fantastic and made the cleaner worth every penny we paid for it. I've gotten a system going where I keep a towel on the floor as I steam the grout, then use my foot to run the towel over the clean part to pick up the water and dirt. It has worked out really well. I am disappointed with the ability to tackle soap scum in the shower. I've tried the small, focused scrubber piece which does work after a while, but for a large job like a shower will take forever. I also tried the squeegee tool which is described as being for glass and tile. Unfortunately, this piece left a black mark on the tile that I am still trying to get off. I find that using a razor blade on soap scum is more effective. Maybe once I get the soap scum off this will help to maintain it, but I'm leery of using the tile attachment because of the mark it left. The squeegee did work well on the mirrors. The steam does shoot out the side so it resteams a portion of the mirror, but I just go over that with the squeegee with no steam coming out to clear it off. Also in the bathroom, I broke off a hinge cover on the toilet. The hinge cover is plastic, so I believe it got too hot and melted enough to break. Disappointing, but more my fault than the steamer's. It seems to keep steam alright. When I use the larger attachments the red light some on more frequently, which is to be expected since I'm using more steam. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase simply because of the grout, and anything else it does is more of a bonus. I do wish it came with an attachment between the size of the floor scrubber and the focused scrubber - something 3 or 4 inches wide would be a good size to do the bathtub and counters.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Made the work much quicker. I started to remove wallpaper "by hand" using vinegar, water and a scraper. While this worked well, it was tedious and time consuming. I got the steamer about a month ago. It only took me 1 afternoon to remove the rest of the wallpaper in 1 room. It works great! Now I have moved on to steam cleaning the grout on my kitchen tile floor. I am amazed (and disgusted) by how much dirt is coming up. I wash my floor weekly, but apparently I have not been getting the grout clean enough! It is very time consuming, but I have a large kitchen. You can really see a difference between where I have cleaned, and where I have yet to clean. The quality of the steamer is averaged\. The little scrub brushes are wearing out already. The extension wands on the handle feel like they might break if you pushed too hard, but for the money, the product is acceptable. I recommend if you have wallpaper to remove.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 915 Steamer Great Product I have removed so much wallpaper in my life ,usually with a spray bottle and sharp knife, then used the 915 steamer, and it works wonderful, i have never smiled before removing wallpaper, but I do now, can't explain how great it works and I am telling everyone about it! Great Product! Thanks!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Wagner Power Steamer 915 While the power steam does function well as a steamer, the quality is aweful. I have had the machine for just over two years. It was used just for general floor clean and counter tops. Certainly nothing heavy duty. Just after the first year one of the extension rods broke and I had to order a new one. Of course I had to puchase it and pay for shipping. Two months later the trigger broke. I guess if you press down on the floor, the quality is just no good enough to handle the pressure. The product needs to be made with studier parts.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I enjoy cleaning with this machine but the instruction manual is poor. I'm happy I purchased it; however, the manual does not explain how the two jet nozzles are to be used. What is the purpose of the brass nozzle? Under what circumstances should it be used? Also, where does the cleaning towel go? Not a word is said about where and how the cleaning towel is to be used....it doesn't fit the steam plate, squeegee or large cleaning brush. Explanation please! Also, what is the purpose of the two spring plates on top of the large cleaning brush? Are they supposed to do something because they do not. HELP!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Amber light comes on after 1 minute of use I have the same problem as another reviewer here. I have used my steamer twice and the second time I put the water in and waited for the green light. after about a minute of use, the amber light comes back on and the steam does not seem to come out with much force. Also, if you walk away from it to let it reheat, when you first go to use it, it shoots hot water out over everything before it turns to steam. I am hoping either Wagner or QVC will will take care of this problem.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The product has great features and attachments I have used the machine twice and have been pleased with the results. Got the grout in my floor bath tiles clean again. Also worked well on the shower doors. Since I have vinyl in my kitchen, dining area and hallway, the one cleaning rag provided was not enough to do the job all at once without rewashing several times. Other than the above issue, so far I'm pleased with the product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A versatile steam cleaner for inside and out! I've tossed my cleaning bottles and am using the Wagner 915 to clean everything from my BBQ and shower tiles to windows and stove top. It's easy to carry around the house, has a long hose, lots of accessories and 45 minutes of steam time. I'm hooked!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty good Could use a longer electrical cord & include more than one cleaning pad. A trigger lock would also be nice as would a way to vary the output of steam with the trigger. Otherwise quite good!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from best grout cleaner! Why isn't this product marketed harder? No more grout scrubbing! We bought this little machine hoping it would work on the dirty, old, worn grout throughout our house (all tile). The 915 exceeded our expectations! The only thing I can assume is that the grout cleaning companies pay Wagner to not push this product! If it works this good on our tile, we are going to find a LOT of other uses for it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent product Just purchased. Used it once to clean my tile floors and I found it did an excellent job. Light weight and easy to handle. Only draw back is a very short electrical cord.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This product is versatile My 915 worked well on several cleaning jobs. Cleaning top of stove, cleaning ceramic tiles and it removed stains from my carpet. The grout cleaning did require a lot of "elbow grease" but it got the very dirty grout clean. I wore out the nylon grout brush. I'm happy I bought the 915.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from DOES NOT DO OVENS BUT WORKS ON OTHER STUFF~ I HAVE USED THIS STEAMER ONCE SINCE I GOT IT. I CLEANED BOTH BATHROOMS, TILE GROUT IN SHOWERS, KITCHEN SINKS AND FAUCETS . I USED IT TO LIGHTLY REMOVED DUST FROM ARTICLES HANGING ON MY WALLS AND SILK FLOWERS. I USED IT ON CRACKS AND CREVICES IN THE KITCHEN AREAS THAT OTHER CLEANING ITEMS CANNOT GET TO. THE RED LIGHT DOES COME ON OFTEN, BUT QUICKLY REHEATS AND GOES BACK OFF IN A SHORT TIME . IT DOES NOT CLEAN OVEN INTERIORS, SO IF THAT IS YOUR PLEASURE, DON'T BUY THIS MACHINE. I HAVE FOUND THAT A MR. CLEAN ERASER DOES A GREAT JOB ON OVEN GLASS DOORS AND YOU DON'T NEED TO USE HARSH CLEANERS ON THE GLASS IF YOU USE THAT. I DID TRY THE STEAMER ON THE INSIDE OF MY CONVECTION TOASTER OVEN, AND IT DID NOT WORK AT ALL. THE CORD IS REALLY SHORT, WHICH I KNEW BEFORE BUYING IT, BUT I HAVE PLENTY OF SHORT HEAVY DUTY EXTENSION CORDS THAT WORK WELL WITH IT. MY NEXT ADVENTURE WILL BE THE 3 BIRDCAGES I HAVE. I AM INTERESTED TO SEE WHAT KIND OF JOB IT WILL DO ON THOSE AND MAYBE I WILL UPDATE AT THAT TIME. LOVE THE HANDLE. IT IS SO EASY TO USE.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from this product isnt what i figured it would be I bought this steamer cause of the ratings and because it was a Wagner product. When it came I was so excited I started cleaning or trying to clean my bathroom, I put the water in and waited for it to turn green then I started to clean and the amber light came on again then I waited again and started again and it lasted about 2 minutes and it came back on again. I"m not so happy now. I hope I just got a advected one and me and customer care can figure this one out.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good cleaner This product has targeted applications. Your brochure gives minimal information, especially as to the green and amber light features. I found the light turned green when ready, then it switched to green/amber after short use. I finally realized that the amber light activates, when the unit is not in use e.g a short stopping of the steamer. It would also help is there was a water eye level to se the water contents.

Hello, I am interested in purchasing a Wagner 915 steam cleaner. I have a question about lead exposure. I read that this product can expose you to lead. How and why is that? Thank You

Asked by: Anuta83
This disclaimer is a mandatory State of CA warning label placed on all products with potential to expose users to toxic building materials. Lead was used in wall paint manufacturing as late as 1978, so if using the wall paper removal attachment on a wall with lead paint underneath it could potentially expose a user to toxic levels of lead. Real estate agents are required to make a renter or buyer aware if lead is suspected; often this is referred to as a "Lead Addendum" in mortgage or lease documents. Paperwork can be overlooked sometimes so it may not be a bad idea to triple-check the year a building was built if it is not newer construction; this information can be verified on the local County Assessor's website if unknown. In Oregon, if any habitable structure has lead, the owner is legally obligated to hire a licensed abatement specialists for any sized demolition because they wear specialized protective gear and have specialized containers to haul contaminated materials offsite to dumps dedicated to treating toxic waste. The most certain way to confirm the presence of lead, asbestos or any other toxic material in a building is to call an abatement specialist for testing.

Mine has two holes, in which am i supposed to add in the water? Do I need to add some type of detergent to the water?

The water goes in the hole underneath the cap in the compartment under the lid. You unscrew the cap and add water. Nothing should be added to the tank except water unless you are cleaning the steamer. Feel free to call us at 1-800-328-8251 if you have further questions.

I need to use a vacuum on the same circuit that runs about 950watts. Once the water is fully heated, will the heating element turn back on during the 45min run time and trigger the 15amp breaker? If so, is there a solution to this problem?

Asked by: Need help
Yes the heating element continues to run in order to keep the water at a high temperature to create steam. You'll have to separate the two tools circuits.
