PaintREADYStation is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful paint system I bought the paint ready station last spring to paint my neighbors house. I had just landscaped her entire front and back yard and she was impressed with my keen eye for detail so she asked me to paint her house. After learning the parts of the sprayer, practicing on plywood and scrap pieces of Wood i realized just how easy it is to use. It does excellent narrow or detailed areas as well as the wide pattern covers exceptionally well. As I began to paint the soffit areas i was pleased how quickly and evenly it sprayed the first coat. No runs of drips. As I began the gable ends and the sides of the house again I am pleased at its even application without any runs or drips. I had a person standing by to backroll but it wasn't necessary. Lol had to send them home. The area of coverage i was able to cover with each tank full of paint was impressive. It was really warm out and though I was in the shade the paint was drying quickly. I was worried the passes i made with the overlap would be uneven or noticeable, but the entire house dried evenly and is beautiful. This was my first house I've painted with a sprayer and it came out so nice i have been painting literally every one of my neighbors houses since then and still going strong. To date i have painted 46 houses and have a waiting list of over two months of clients waiting for me. The clean up of the sprayer is so quick and easy. My hats off to the Wagner corp. Excellent product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This thing is exactly what I needed I am painting everything with this little guy. I love it. It’s just right! It puts out a decent amount of pressure and is pretty durable. I’ve been hard on it!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Over spray I read the book & watched instruction on youtube, yet I ended up with too much over spray it took over hour to clean up. Could have painted with roller in half the time.

Cup does not seem to get pressure to move paint up the tube although the cup is on as tight as reasonably possible. Doesn't even move water. Any ideas?

Asked by: Crystalyne
Make sure the air vent on the suction tube is clear. It is the tiny hole in the side of the tube just under the gasket. Also make sure the check valve is clear and allowing air into the cup. Give us a call with any further questions at 800-328-8251, thanks for contacting Wagner!

used it today first time . question is seems like i have a lot of drift spray and it was a calm day . and it seemed to go through a lot of paint quick . iknow i still learning

Asked by: dodgeram
Spray from 6-10" away from the project. Cut down on the paint flow to eliminate overspray/spitting and more will land on the project! For more tips and tricks call us at 800-328-8251.

I purchased the paint ready station several years ago and when painting it doesn’t seem to be the fine spray that get with my more expensive airless sprayer.  Tends to come out very heavy.  I do not have the white sprayer for unthinned paint.  Suggestions

Asked by: Cfhoward4
With the Paint Ready and latex paint, we suggest thinning about 10% with water and adding a flow agent can also help. Adjust the gun so that it does not spit (heavy droplets) and when spraying from 6" away, control the amount you apply by the speed you move. Apply a wet coat with each pass and overlap 50%. For more tips call us at 800-328-8251.

I just bought this model sprayer and am having a hard time controlling the amount of over-spray. I'm beginning to think that I bought the wrong model. I'd like to speak to someone or get some help...I want this to work.

Asked by: Amanda1
The PaintReady Station is a HVLP(High Volume Low Pressure) sprayers, which is designed to deliver minimal overspray compared to traditional airless units. There are a few factors that help mitigate/control the overspray. First, you want to make sure that you have the gun about 6-8 in from the project itself. Too far away will result in more overspray since it wont be able to reach the project, Too close can cause the material to run. Second, there are two setting that can be adjusted to alter the spray of the material: the power and material flow control. Thicker materials will require higher power to fully atomize the material but just because it is spraying at full power does not mean you want to stay at full power. Similarly, the material flow control will need to be set higher for the thicker material to flow correctly. But once again just because it works at the maximum setting doesn't mean you want to be set there. You want to find the happy medium, so adjusting these setting down until the unit starts to spit and then go back up to the previous setting where it did work. This will get the sprayer set to deliver maximum efficiency at minimal effort. If your concerns still persists you may also contact our technical support staff directly at 1(800)328-8251 and they can troubleshoot with you to see about getting your sprayer working well for you.

I'm using this for the first time with a latex for painting cabinets and doors. I'm getting a lot of splatter. I have it set to 2, lessoned the material volume knob and cleaned the nozzle. Better, but not good enough. Suggestions?

The PaintReady Station comes with the Ispray Front End that is designed to produce a roller like finish. If you are wanting a smooth finish you would want to purchase the Detail Finish Front End.
