Will the Opti Stain spray Minwax fast-drying polyurethane without thinning it?

Asked by: medic6
Yes, the Opti-Stain can spray polyurethane without thinning. The fast drying characteristic can cause build up on the nozzle at times though. Keep a damp cloth handy to wipe the front of the nozzle here and there and you should be good to go. You can call us at 800-328-8251 for further help. Thanks for contacting Wagner!

Can I use paint in my stained sprayer

Asked by: Kyleb
Thanks for your inquiry! The Power Stainer is not designed to spray latex paints. On occasion you can thin it down and give it a try but if you're looking to spray paint I suggest our Power Painter line of sprayers. They will be much more effective than the Power Stainer. Thanks for contacting Wagner! https://www.wagnerspraytech.com/?s=power+painter

Can you spray exterior acrylic paint in the Wagner Opti strain plus?

Asked by: Buzz
The Opti Stain Plus sprays oil- and water-based sealers as well as transparent and semi-transparent stains. Exterior paint may be too thick and may require too much thinning for proper use. Look at our Flexio HVLP sprayers for thicker materials like paints.

Will this work with Olympic Elite semi-solid stain? The base of the stain is listed as semi-transparent/semi-solid; for semi-solid more pigment was added.

Asked by: Steve10
The Power Stainer sprays transparent and semi-transparent stains. Thicker materials will require thinning. For more tips call us at 800-328-8251.

Cant get any suction on my p/n0417332 wagner paint sprayer

Asked by: Heartless
Has the sound changed? When the piston gets stuck the gun hums and it doesn't spray. If that's the case, remove the piston and clean and lubricate it, then try again just with water. If that doesn't work give us a call at technical support at 800-328-8251.
