Flexio 4000 Sprayer

$ 249.99
The FLEXiO 4000 stationary paint sprayer is perfect for longer painting projects, with less weight in your hand, because the motor is housed in the base on the ground. It has variable speeds for cutting time and effort on painting projects and can paint a wall 11 times faster than a brush.

The 4000 comes with 2 different nozzles – one for painting multiple rooms, decks and sets of furniture. The other nozzle for fine finishing on cabinets and trim. The new nozzle design delivers an improved spray pattern and adjustable control with less mess and overspray.

It has the flexibility to spray indoors and outdoors with the power to spray unthinned paint and stains with full coverage. Cleaning is faster than a brush or roller with just a few removable parts that separate and rinse clean.

Covers an 8’x10’ surface in minutes:
-Stain: 1 minute
-Latex: 5 minutes

Flexio 4000 is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 42.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Does not spray nearly as paint as expected. Just bought 2 4000's today. Very disappointed in the spray volume. To bad I used both them or I would be taking them back. A roller is much faster and covers better

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BLOWN AWAY I decided to paint and drylock my basement walls. After brushing on 2 walls of Drylock I figured there has to be a better way. Went out last night and purchased the 4000 after reading all reviews. I read the instructions carefully and went to work. OMG how simple this is. I had not one problem! Finished spraying the two walls in 30 minutes and clean up couldn't be any easier. If your having a problem, go back and read the instructions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New kitchen Finished making new cabinet doors for my kitchen and used the Wagner 4000 to spray the paint. Finish was better than that of some professional built cabinets that you find in home improvement stores. Just finished restoring my wife's mother old chair. Used finishing gun on this. Did ok, but wish that it had the same type of flow control as the other gun

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Motor Quit I bought this to paint two bathrooms that we had remodeled and an office in our house. I was surprised but ok with the amount of masking off that I had to do. I had to do the ceiling in the office along with the walls. Had issues with clogging but I think that was more operator error than anything. Afterwards, I cleaned the unit and nozzle per the instructions. The next day I set up to do the walls. Once I got the adjustments right, it worked great and I was pleased with the results for the first two and half walls. Then the trouble started: Mid-way through the third wall, the motor started making a funny noise and losing power. I shut it off and thought maybe I would let it cool. After about an hour, I tried again and the motor continued to make a bad noise and lost power and started to smell. I am going to take it back to the place of purchase for my money back.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No parts available Recently bought the unit and used it once. Performed ok and cleanup was easy. Now need it again but somehow I misplaced the sprayer handle. Search on Wagner website for Flexio 4000 parts shows no results.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing Sprayed 4 interior doors on two occasions. Started this week painting my exterior, made it 1/3rd of the way down a 28x7 wall and the turbine burnt out. I keep my tools clean, both filters were clean and I'm spraying latex which the Flexio 4000 is set up for. My sprayer is just outside of the 12 month warranty. Guess I'll head to the man store Harbor Tool Freight....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Plenty of power I applied an Al’s bed liner using the Wagner 4000. The material is a thick-pudding type of substance. But It shoots the product out really well and Much faster than I expected. Controls over spray nicely too. I feel this gun is more practical to use than the hoper style pneumatic gun the product came with. The key to clean up is to wait till the next day once it’s fully dried. Then disassemble the gun and peel the dried product right off of the components.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tool Facing the task of painting twelve doors (four are louvered bifold) and many shelves I decided to purchase this tool. My initial use was with primer. Second was with latex enamel. In each case the paint went on good with no thinning required. I did have to make flow adjustments,as expected. Cleanup was quick and easy. I painted two bi-fold doors and six medium shelves, with cleanup, took less time than painting one of the doors by brush. In fact less time than cleaning a paint brush and roller. Yes over spray does appear to waste paint. But the cost of the paint loss compared to the time saved is acceptable.

Does the detail sprayer need the paint to be thinned in order to work properly?

Asked by: Rachel2831
Thank you for reaching out to us. The Detail finish nozzle works best on fine finish projects such as spraying cabinets, furniture, doors, trim etc... It will provide a smoother, finer finish than the iSpray Nozzle. Depending on your material, the Detail Finish Nozzle may require some thinning of your material in order to spray properly.

Can you use this with chalk paint

Asked by: Jambev
Yes you can spray chalk paint with the Flexio 4000. Using the iSpray nozzle it will sprayed unthinned, using the Detail Finish nozzle will require some thinning (up to 40%) for a fine finish application. Call for application tips at 1-800-328-8251.

No thinning of paint or stains?

Asked by: Sizieq
The Flexio 4000 comes with two front end nozzles. The iSpray nozzle is for your fence, deck or walls, with unthinned latex paints and stains. It will leave a roller like texture. It also has the Detail Finish nozzle for your trim, furniture and cabinets. In the Detail you should thin latex paint about 10% with water. Spray from 6" away and apply a wet coat. Are the 4000 and 4300 identical except that the 4000 comes with the Detail Finish Nozzle and the 4300 comes with the Gravity Feed cup? Can you compare the different uses for each? I don't know which one I would use more.

Asked by: Roxi
Yes, that is exactly the difference between the 4000 and the 4300. The cup is on the bottom or the cup is on the top. There is no quality difference in the kits. They both spray and atomize the same. Typically gravity fed guns are used by automotive painters and pressure fed guns (cup on the bottom) are used by woodworkers. But this is not a hard rule. Both guns can be used for many projects. What is the best way to clean?

Asked by: Seals
Here is a link to a cleaning video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RvFcTSJ8zgQ The owner's manual also has a detailed description of the cleaning process. It's very easy to clean. Always remove the front end from the turbine, then for cleaning water based paints, use warm water to clean each of the individual parts, then reassemble the sprayer and spray some water through to make sure it's all clear. For oil based paints/stain use mineral spirits to clean with gloves, a rag and a brush, then after using mineral spirits the sprayer should also be rinsed with water. For more help call us at 1-800-328-8251.
