Flexio 3000 is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 222.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Inconsistent and Messy I purchased the Wagner to complete a few home projects. It worked great when I used the first 6 times it to paint bedroom furniture and a vanity. I tried using it to paint a wall and not only the reservoir kept falling, paint splattered all over the place and I had to use a roller.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing, but a small learning curve. I knew I'd need a sprayer for this project since it was the biggest paint job I've stepped up to in our house, and boy was it helpful. I was able to complete the process in a surprising amount of time. The paint went on smoothly and looked beautiful. Not to toot my own horn, but it looks professionally painted...or at least better than any painting project I've ever had to do. Having the option to adjust the settings to reach the desired effect really allowed my to customize my style and experience of the process. If I wanted to go faster, I could. If I wanted to get more detailed, I could. The cleaning process was not as bad as I thought. It's not necessarily easier than cleaning a brush set, but I knew that taking the time to clean the sprayer was much more worthy of my time. One thing that was a frustration at first was the nozzle. The Flexio came with 2 identical nozzle attachments. I figured this was a spare in case one was lost or damaged. The directions and any tutorials I followed suggested wiping the nozzle with a cloth to prevent any issues. I certainly wiped as I went. However, There was a point, where wiping didn't cut it. It spattered repeatedly no matter what. I then realized I could use the spare, clean nozzle while my assistant/wife cleaned the used one. My issues were solved immediately! It was quite a silly epiphany I had. So overall, the paint looks amazing on the walls. Beautiful coverage. Be sure to use the spare nozzle to keep your sprayer clean during the process. Be sure to take the time to clean when you are done. Cleaning wet paint is easier than cleaning dried paint.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Easy I am a handyman contractor and perform many different services for customers. I purchased this unit to paint 62 new staircase balusters and 5 newel posts that I fabricated. The FLEXiO 3000 performed excellent. I used enamel paint and it had no problem giving me the great finish that I wanted. Very easy to use. Over spray was minimal due to the spray pattern adjustments on the gun. Clean up was a little cumbersome due to having to use mineral spirits but, I am sure latex would be less time consuming and easier. So glad I made this purchased and a great addition to my tools for future jobs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sprayer! I bought this sprayer for some home remodelling. So far I've painted several rooms, replaced and painted all the baseboard trim, and about 75 banisters for our new stairs. It works very well with both primer and latex paints. To keep it working well, just clean it with some mineral spirits, take it apart, rinse well, and let it dry before putting it away.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Zero stars!! Do not purchase!! I bought this sprayer to paint my kitchen cabinets. Huge mistake! I did all my research, followed all directions. I have lots of cabinets to paint, so i was looking for something to speed up the process. I started priming my cabinet doors with the sprayer, it was erratic and sprayed out larger amounts whenever it wanted. I applied even pressure on the trigger and used even strokes as directed but it just spit out more primer whenever it wanted. I tried to sand and refill the mistakes, but i now have more work to do to fill and sand because of the sprayer. I tried again with the paint thinking it might do a better job with the thicker paint, I was wrong! It was spraying out globs of paint and my doors looked like confetti, even after trying to adjust the settings. Luckily i had my roller available so i was able to roll it out and no additional damage was done. I am now just going to roll it out, one side at a time. I hope I can repair the damage it did to my doors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The perfect tool for house projects! We bought an abandonded home and have been working on fixing it up for a year. We knew we had a lot to paint so I bought the Wagner-Flexio 3000 after trying one my sister in law had. I knew it was the right tool for this huge project. It gave me the capacity to do large area painting of walls and fences but also allowed me to do exceptional finish work on our wood doors too. Every thing turned out perfect!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from FLEXiO 3000 Thank goodness I got this to paint a Pergola I built. It would’ve taken forever with a brush. If you follow directions and use appropriate paints and thinners the finish is flawless. Thanks Wagner!

Is the FLEXiO 3000 ok to use for painting doors?

Asked by: Butch69
The Flexio 3000 comes with the Detail Finish Front end assembly. The Detail finish nozzle is best used on your fine finish projects such as spraying cabinets, furniture, doors, trim etc. It will provide a smoother, finer finish than the iSpray Nozzle. Depending on your material, the Detail Finish Nozzle may require some thinning of your material in order to spray properly.

Any of our handheld HVLP sprayers should only tilt up, up to 45 degrees. Our stationary HVLP, with an air hose attached to the spray gun, can tilt up, up to 60 degrees. Our airless Power Painters and HEA sprayers can aim straight up, but create much more overspray. For more information call us at 1-800-328-8251.

I used my new Flexio 3000 for the first time with a latex barn red paint. it worked well for a while until it started dripping/spurting after the trigger was off. Huge messand when I took it apart, paint had made it's way into the motor/ impeller area.

Asked by: billybob
The Flexio 3000 can only tilt up, up to 45 degrees or paint can run into the turbine. When you released the trigger and it continues to spray/stream paint out, the nozzle is loose. Tighten the black retaining ring on the front, this will seal the nozzle to the needle, stopping the paint flow. For more tips, call us at 1-800-328-8251.

Asked by: Diego U
Here is a link to our international site - https://www.wagner-group.com/en/consumer/service/service-for-consumers/servicenumbers-international/ We do not suggest buying tools with a 110V circuit if you live where it is 220V, the conversion will burn out the small turbine motors.

Asked by: Patrick M
The weight without paint is 63 ounces or 3.94lbs. If you are concerned about the weight you may want to look at the Flexio 4000. The turbine is separate on that model so it doesn't weight as much. On the Flexio 3000, the container/bucket for paint is actually stuck to the other part. I have tried hot water, petroleum jelly, and even had the Hulk try with pure strength to no avail. Is there anyway to get that off? Thanks.

Asked by: MuffinMan
With all respect to the Hulk...try taking his leather belt and wrapping it around the lower section of the cup, once around and clamp the two sides together with Hulk's big hand. Use this as a handle to get more leverage around the lower (fatter) end of the cup. It's only stuck together with paint...so. If you need more help or a new cup, call us at 1-800-328-8251.

Asked by: Lash23
Behr Premium Floor Coatings recommend to use a high quality 3/8 -1/2" nap roller cover, nylon/polyester brush or an airless sprayer (.015 - .021" spray tip, 60 mesh filter). Flexio 3000 is a HVLP sprayer and you might have to thin down your paint.

I purchased the Flexio 3000 along with some Cabot's Semi-Solid Deck and Siding stain to stain my fence. Can I use the Flexio 3000 for this application? If so, what are the ideal settings and do I need to thin the stain out any?

Asked by: Robert12
Use the iSpray front end nozzle with semi-solid color stain. Keep the power at max and the stain flow down lower for the best atomization for the project. For a fence or deck a little spitting won't hurt, but a lot will. If it spits too much, cut down on fluid flow. Thinning makes a huge difference in how any thicker product sprays, even 5% can do the trick. Spray from 6-10" and apply a wet coat with each pass, don't go over it 5 times to get it wet, slow down your application speed and it will look more even. For more spraying tips call us at 1-800-328-8251.

Asked by: First time 3000 user
With any paint, except Behr, thin about 10% with water to use the Detail Finish nozzle. Spray from 6" away and if the gun spits, cut down on paint flow, keep the power at max. You can also add an ounce of Floetrol to help it level easier. For more spraying tips call us at 1-800-328-8251.

My sprayer won’t pick up paint or prime, just blows air.  Any suggestions?

Asked by: Andrew53
We're sorry to hear about the trouble you are having with your sprayer. There is no prime or pickup of paint. The paint container is pressurized with air to force paint up into the gun head for spraying. You are missing that pressure. Check the clear tube outside the gun, the check valve at the bottom of that tube and the 1/16" hole in the side of the pickup tube inside the container. There are good cleaning instructions in the manual. If you need help call us at 1-800-328-8251.

How much does the 3000 weigh with a full container of paint?

Asked by: Zappy
When it's full of paint, the 3000 will weigh in at about 9 lbs. Move up to the 4000 and it separates the turbine from the spray gun and cuts that weight down to about 4 lbs total, with paint. Good luck with your project.
