Rated 5 out of 5 by ScubaSteve from Best Thing Since Canned Paint! Super easy to use, cuts time in half. No more trips back and forth to the tray to load up the roller. Works well with either thick or thinner paint. Well worth the price. TWO THUMBS UPS and FOUR STARS!* * * *

Rated 5 out of 5 by Novice painter from Evolution of painting I was very skeptical of this roller until it worked flawlessly through 15 gallons of paint. I primed 240 sheets of rock in a day without issues. Easy to clean as well. Will update soon.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Leighann from Pros and cons This paint roller works well for its intended application.... however: The rollers, including the aftermarket sold separately ones, shed lint worse than a dollar store paint roller. And, it wastes a lot of paint; the entire section from the head of the plunger, down the metal arm, and the channel of space between the roller and mounting piece it covers, all useless paint that remains until it's flushed out. If a person won't look closely at the wall, or doesn't care about a speckled linty wall, nor do they care financially or environmentally about paint, then this would be the perfect tool.

Rated 5 out of 5 by sassytownhouseliving from The Best Tool For Painting I am so thrilled to own this SMART Flow Roller. The first time I used it, I was just flawed at how great it works. It's super easy to use and the clean up is easy too. I couldn't believe how fast I was able to get my painting job done. The paint flows from the roller perfectly and evenly. It's very well made and I know I will own it and love it for years. It's the best painting tool ever! I was able to do my painting quickly, easily, and efficiently.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Jackson3245 from Made my house a complete mess I purchesed this at my local hardware store this is the worst roller I have ever used the roller cover would fly off and paint would fall all over the ground and the paint was very hard to come out and never fully covered the roller I highly don't recommend this product better off just using a regular roller don't waste your time

Rated 4 out of 5 by FirstCoat from Painting is fun again Okay, painting is generally not much more fun than watching the grass grow, but with the Smart Flow Roller, it gets very close to being fun. Covered many more square feet today than a regular roller, clean up was easy and I can't wait until tomorrow morning when I can finish the house that I started today.

Rated 1 out of 5 by David46 from Good idea, bad execution! I owned a unit many years ago and decided to purchased this unit last week to paint the inside of the house. Did a test run on one room and the unit worked really well (1 gallon). I carefully washed the unit after 1st use. Ready for second run today and the unit will only suck a lot of air. Not a positive experience after only one use. Checked seals and Q/A on site for ideas on how to fix it. Still not working. I'm glad I didn't but the larger unit ($89) unit at HD.

Why does it specify "interior" on the box? I used mine with exterior paint and it worked flawlessly. The only suggestion I could make is to have it adaptable with the smaller length Wagner roller setups.
Obviously the roller doesn't know if you're painting inside or out, but exterior work is generally tougher on tools and therefore the warranty doesn't extend to full time exterior use of this specific roller. You can always contact technical support at 800-328-8251 for more details.

Can I purchase a replacement valve? My rollers leak where the stray enters the stick. I have 8 perfectly nice Wagner roller sticks that leak.
I have used the Wagner paint sticks for years. The rubber valve is the only part that wears out and then paint leaks out.
That valve is indeed a wear part, but we do have them available. Give us a call at 1-800-328-8251 and we'd be happy to get you taken care of.

How do I get the roller and roller cover apart after painting. I have no directionns.
The roller cover is removed by pressing the clip on the arm and sliding the roller assembly off. Once free of the arm, the core and cap can be removed from the cover by pulling on the cap, which just clips over the core. Once the cap is loose, the roller cover can be pulled off of the core.

The SMART Flow Roller is simply the newest version of the Turbo Roller, the only difference being a switch in color scheme to match our current line of SMART rollers.
