Control Pro 130 Sprayer Receives Pro Tool Innovation Award
Wagner Control Pro 130™ Power Tank Sprayer Receives 2019 Pro Tool Innovation Award
Award recognizes tools for precise, efficient performance capabilities
MINNEAPOLIS — Sept. 13, 2019 — Wagner SprayTech, a market leader in advanced paint applicators, recently received the 2019 Pro Tool Innovation Award for the Control Pro 130™ Power Tank Sprayer in the Painting & Tiling Tools category.
The Pro Tool Innovation Awards program is hosted annually by Pro Tool Reviews and awards are selected by industry professionals and trade media representatives based on innovation. This year, more than 360 entries were submitted by more than 70 manufacturers. Winners demonstrated achievement in any combination of the following: innovative features, advanced power delivery, groundbreaking ergonomics, technological advancements, and value.
“Each year, manufacturers reach further and further to innovate and improve their products, helping improve job site efficiently, safety, and productivity,” said Clint DeBoer, executive director of the Pro Tool Innovation Awards. “While incremental advancements are the norm, some products truly distinguish themselves in the industry and deserve particular recognition. Business owners, builders, contractors, and tradespeople can look to the Pro Tool Innovation Awards to find the products that will help them work more quickly, safety, and efficiently. These new tools also tend to save pros and businesses money in either material costs or time-savings. That’s the kind of innovation that speaks the loudest.”
The Wagner Control Pro 130™ Power Tank Sprayer takes the intimidation out of airless spraying, and enables serious DIYers, handymen and property owners to complete interior and exterior paint jobs much faster than when using rollers and brushes. It’s High Efficiency Airless™ (HEA) gun and tip technology deliver a softer spray fan pattern, a more consistent finish, and produce up to 55 percent less overspray than conventional airless systems. Minimal overspray means less time and materials are required for taping and masking before spraying and most projects are completed using less paint.
This sprayer can spray an eight-foot by 10-foot wall in as little as two minutes. It is powerful and makes quick work of painting, while delivering a smooth, uniform finish on surfaces like walls, siding, decks, and fences. The tank has a capacity of 1.5 gallons, so users can spray unthinned latex or oil-based paint, primer or stain continuously without stopping. It’s also a gravity-fed tank, so priming and clean-up are quick and easy.
“When you’re looking for professional painting results with a sprayer that’s not as intimidating or costly as professional models, consider the Wagner Control Pro 130,” reported the Pro Tool Innovation Award judges. “The spray pattern helps reduce the amount of overspray and its gravity-fed tank make it easy to use and clean. When you’re done, just rinse and flush the system before you put it away. For well under $250, it’s a fantastic solution for DIYers who want quality results without the hassle.”
“We are honored to receive this recognition, especially since it reflects input from professional users who use tools like this every day,” said Jon Beaton, product director for Wagner. “At Wagner, we are committed to continually finding new ways to improve the user experience, so our customers can safely complete jobs with maximum efficiency and effectiveness.”
The new Control Pro 130 Power Tank sprayer is available at major home improvement centers, online, and on the Wagner SprayTech website here. MSRP is $249.99.
