Yes, I read the directions....several times! I spent HOURS cleaning, assembling, cleaning again, re-assembling.... hoping it would work only to be disappointed. WASTED time & paint; not to mention patience. VERY disappointed!

I apologize for the difficulty you've had using our Project Sprayer. There are a few things I can recommend if you wanted to try to problem shoot your issue.
Make sure that your piston is not seized inside of your pump housing. This can happen if the piston is dirty or if you are holding the trigger continuously. The Project Sprayer is meant to be operated by spraying an arms length pass across your body, letting go of the trigger each time. If you hold the trigger for too long you can over heat the piston.
Do most of your spraying horizontally; do not spray at more than a 45 degree angle from horizontal.
Make sure that your suction tube, spray tip and locking nut are hand tight in the sprayer. If either of these were to be loose, they can pull air into the machine.
If you wish to call us for further help, please do so at 1-800-328-8251.

I have been trying to use this sprayer for the past month.
There are so many small parts that are very hard to clean.
It constantly jams. It seems like no one at Wagner even tried to ever use this tool as they would see how hard it is to use.
This tool is making me late in so many deadlines as i have to go and wash the whole thing out every 3 minutes.
I need to use some handmade metal sticks to poke through the smallest holes in some of the smallest part.
Terrible design. It makes me very frustrated.
This tool is meant for a single used on a VERY small project. Should be 20$. Not worth anything more than that.

I read reviews that complained of poor spray pattern control and poor durability. I only need it for some small projects, so I took a chance on it and followed directions meticulously. For my good quality Ben Moore enamel, it was exceedling difficult to get an even finish. After first use I disassembled, cleaned, oiled, etc.
On second use after a month of storage, piston siezes after a few minutes of use. Re-cleaning and oiling does not help.
It's an expensive bit of trash.

I heve been using my project sprayer for nearly 2 years. First I had your 1800psi, and some parts broke. I recently purchased anothe sprayer Model 0518157 and both models worked better than expected. The only problem I have with youre products is that theres no place here in Puerto Rico, where to get parts for your products. Home Depot is listed as one of your distributors, but they don't even carry your products. I have tried the Interfnet to get parts for my sprayer, but they don't carry all the parts needed. Thanks for a very good sprayer at a very good price.
Prosgood price.
Consparts not avaiable in puerto rico.

Answer:
The sprayer will make a loud buzzing noise when in use. If it starts to make a humming noise you will want to check your piston to make sure that it is not seized inside the pump housing.7 months ago

when using the preoject sprayer , how much should tatex paint be thinned dowqn for best results?

Answers
Answer:
When spraying latex paint you want to contact the manufacture of the paint to see what they recommend for a tip size when using an airless sprayer. The maximum tip size the Pro Coat can support is a .015. If the manufacture of the paint recommends a .015 or smaller no thinning is required. If the manufacture requires larger than a .015 tip ask them for thinning recommendations on the paint.7 months ago
