Overview

ProCoat Max

The Wagner ProCoat Max is a 2800 psi electric piston pump paint sprayer capable of spraying today's thick latex paints without thinning. It produces the same great finish found with professional sprayers with features designed for the home-owner. Draw paint, stain, or sealers directly from the can. The adjustable pressure controls overspray while the spray gun swivel increases comfort.

Great for whole house painting yet simple enough for sheds, fences, and decks. It sets up in less than 5 minutes by simply snapping the inlet hose in place and attaching the pressure hose and gun to the outlet. A garden hose connects to the inlet for a quick flush cleaning the entire system in less than 10 minutes.

Not sure yet Bought the Procoat Max today. Set up per instructions and had trouble priming. When it finally primed the pressure built and then nothing, like the gun clogged. Attached two other guns I had and the same problem. It was a bad day. Was trying to spray thinned latex interior primer, using the included yellow filter and 515 nozzles that came with unit. I've used airless sprayers for twenty years with no problems. I didn't strain the pain but never have in the past. Can anyone help, I don't want to give up on it yet. February 8, 2014
Awesome Sprayer! So far I have painted my shop and garden shed with this sprayer using 6 gallons of paint. I have not had any problems with splattering or clogging. I was using recycled paint from Oregon. For the price I paid and the way it performs, I could not be happier. With a little care this should last a long time. It would be nice to have the option to pay extra and get it with a longer hose. Not a real big deal. August 20, 2013
Extremely disappointed We bought the Procoat Max for our construction/remodeling business. From day one it gave us nothing but trouble. Filters plugged constantly and we could never just start operating it without having to mess around and figure out what was wrong first, then make our own repairs. Well before our first year with it was up, we ditched it to buy a different brand. We wasted a LOT of time and money on this product. We're frustrated that a company in the business of designing and selling paint sprayers can't come up with a better design and a product that actually works. February 15, 2013
