I found that the power roller pro was great for painting the walls but not good for the ceiling. Too heavy for me on the ceiling.

The Power Roller is an excellent tool for repainting walls. Because this draws the paint directly from the can, there is little to no mess. The on/off button on the handle makes it real easy to control the amount of paint being put on the wall. The best thing is the garden hose adapter – it makes quick work of cleaning (just remember to run the motor to completely flush the paint) which is always the worst part of painting. Without that, I probably would only give it 4 stars.
This is a great tool and would recommend it to everyone!

I used the Power Roller Max to paint my bathroom. This Wagner product is great! Not only did it save me tons of time but I didn't have to keep bending over to load up paint in the roller arm. I really liked the button on the handle. You can keep the roller running continually if you like or use the button and turn it on and off as you roll. What a wonderful experience using Wagner's product.

I used this product one time- worked well. I spent 45 minutes cleaning every part with warm water. Soaked, used included brushes, dried and assembled. The second time I used it, the paint flow was poor and eventually clogged. Tried cleaning again and same thing happened. The hose attachment is worthless and would not depend on that to clean the unit. Ended up throwing away the unit after being so frustrated. I spend more time cleankng than I would painting. Good concept but this thing needs major overhaul.

I have bought three of these for about $90 apiece. The first one stopped working one day even though it was only about a year old. But I had used it three or four times and it had saved me a lot of time,
So I bought another. This one didn't last as long. The pump developed a leak and I ended up with paint all over. Fortunately on my plastic sheet. But it too had lasted long enough to pay for the time it had saved me. So now I am on my third pump. If it gives out too soon like the other two, I will try a different brand.
But ultimately it is a great item.
It is hard to clean, but I don't have a solution for that problem - it is paint, after all. And if my water hose and disposal area were more convenient, cleaning would be much less of a problem. I always use a hose; running water through it with the pump barely works.
I have had three of these over the course of the last four years. I use it for a couple of months for a room or two (or the side of my house) then I don't use it for a year or so. (this question is on your "information section of this survey)

I have used my roller for many large projects at home and at our church. I took my first unit to the Philippines where we were painting thousands of square feet of concrete walls inside a new church. Unfortunately the oil based paint finally ate the tubing inside the pump after about 100gals. I think that a sturdier model would be used by professionals if you produced one that had fewer plastic parts (bushings).

I have used it to paint ceilings and walls. It is easy to keep supply of paint in roller to match the pace of rolling. The quality and durability of unit is better than previous unit bought 10 years ago.
I thought at first that a larger than 1 gallon paint source would be better, but found that short break after each gallon is convenient. The cleanup of latex paint is easy and quick. Oil based paint cleans up well but more complicated and time consuming because it is oil based. The variety of rollers available is adequate for any surface.

Answer:
Kenneth,I wouldn't hesitate to use the Wagner Power Paint Roller on six inch lap siding.
I'd use a longer nap roller (3/4 inch). Apply paint vertically, and then work paint into overlaps horizontally to get an even spread of the paint.
Believe me, you'll be happy with the results of using Wagner.
AND, IT IS SO FAST.

I have a new roll N go that I just took out of the box. I followed all the instructions. It took over 2 1/2 hours to get the [paint thru the tube to the roller. Is this Normal? if there any thing I'm not doing?

Answer:
Don't know what a roll n go is, but the paint n roll, of which I have 2, are great for individual rooms, that are being painted different colors. Check all the seals, and make sure the o-rings are in place. Also, check for clogs; sometimes you can suck up a peice of skinned paint and push it through the tool. It dosen't like that!! ;-)6 days ago
