This is product needs some improvements to becomes a nice one:
1- Power cable too short and not enough length to tie to other cable.
2- When paint gets too low machine starts to spit! and ruins areas under the paint( spit like a camel!), no way to see level of the paint inside container.
otherwise it works for small to medium projects.

The cup design alone is a real problem. At first glance the EZ tilt feature has some promise but when conbined with the multiple piece cup assembly is just poor. The 3 piece cup is heavy, hard to clean, and consistently leaves a 1/4 of the contents in, when the sprayer quits.
A quick CAD design check will show that the cup doesn't work well with the fleible pick-up design. a replacement one piece telfon coated cup that the sides and bottom are radiused to provide proper flow through the sweep of the pick-up (3/16") would be great improvement,
Keep it simple! Stay with the lower models, move to a competitor for a higher volume gun, or resign yourself to refilling at a 1/4 full and 45 minutes of clean-up after each use.
No, I do not recommend this product.

I bought this to do some touch up work on the house. It never worked from day one. Spit and sputtered at times, but never
sprayed. I gave up and used a brush. Last week I got it out again and tried to see if I could get it to work. I took everything apart to make sure it was all clean. Put it back together and same results. Spit, sputtered and made a lot of noise but never sprayed. All I need now is an address and a box and someone will soon be getting this back to do with it whatever they want.

Powerful unit; was capable of pushing a good coat of unthinned Kilz latex paint, which was what I wanted it for. One drawback; the spray pump piston binds up every few minutes, and must be removed, washed off and re-lubricated before the device will spray the thick paint. By the time I was finished with the job, I was able to remove and clean the piston pretty quickly once I found out what the problem was.
Overall, the sprayer works well, but with the thick paint I was using, it required that the piston be cleaned once for about every quart of paint I sprayed. Thinner paint or stains might not be as much of a problem. Cleaning the piston is not difficult, and can be done quickly.
Prospowerful spray, good spray pattern
Conspiston cleaning required

I just purchased this painter and used it the next day - it worked great! Primed ceiling and adjoining walls! Clean up was easy - it does take a LITTLE while but if that makes the machine work efficiently, then it is definitely worth it.
Proseasy to use, sprays upside down, not too heavy even with paint in the canister, comes apart easily for clean up
Conscan't think of one now...

Answer:
Absolutely- as mentioned in my review, I just did a bathroom, ceiling and hallway, with un-thinned Behr satin latex (with Floetrol added), and it was a complete joy- really, really satisfying. The spray pattern is well controlled, so overspray is minimal, and being low pressure, the air doesn't fill with paint fog.Now I'm casting around for other things to paint...!!

Answer:
Yes, you can use it indoors. It is an airless sprayer so it will produce overspray so you will want to make sure that everything is covered and you are spraying in a well ventilated area.6 months ago

I can't be sure, not having last year's "Plus", but based on my ownership of a "basic" and now a "Plus/EZ", I'd doubt it. The EZtilt has a weighted valve at the bottom of a flexible corrugated section, with the filter at the TOP, just below the ports to the pump cylinder, plugging in with O-rings and engaging in a coarse screw thread. My "basic" had the filter at the bottom, and wouldn't have taken the EZtilt pickup. But, I may be wrong...

We had to clean the piston for every sheet of plywood as it quit spraying. We did thin the primer a half cup water to the gallon of primer. Worked no better. Appeared to get a ring of dried primer in the little grooves.
Hope it can spray exterior latex better or it is going back to HD.

Answer:
I suspect that the low lubrication properties of the Kilz, (or any latex paint) along with the heat generated during operation of the spray gun, causes the paint coating the piston bore to partially dry and quickly begin to build up in the piston grooves. It is likely that when using a mineral oil- based stain or paint, the problem of piston binding from paint build-up would be much reduced or eliminated due to better lubrication provided by the different material being sprayed.Age: 55-64

Answer:
While spraying are you holding down the trigger continuously or doing an arm's length pass and letting go of the trigger? If you are holding the trigger down continuously that may be part of the problem. The reason being is the piston inside the machine moves 2000 times per minute and if you hold the trigger down continuously the heat from the pistons starts to dry the paint inside the machine causing it to spit, sputter, or seize the piston.2 months, 3 weeks ago
