Purchased the sprayer to paint over popcorn ceiling.
It worked fine initially but after I refilled the container, it stopped spraying. I had to keep clicking the on/off trigger to finish the most of the room (10ft by 11ft) and then it stopped completely. I cleaned it and tried to make sure all internal areas were paint free. I tried spraying with just soapy water to see it worked and nothing came out. I finished the rest of the ceiling with rollers.
Again, it was the 1st time for me and I tried to follow the instructions step by step but it stopped working.
I returned it.

I pulled it out of the box, followed all the instructions exactly and started spraying. Within 2 minutes the spray quality diminished to a worthless quality and within seconds after that the piston seized. I had to disassemble it to get the piston unstuck, reassemble it to finish the small area I was painting and within 10 seconds it seized again. So I stupidly gave this piece o' junk the benefit of the doubt and cleaned every last little piece to use it the next day. I reassembled it, oiled the piston with more oil than BP spilled into the ocean, and this time it worked for 5 minutes! Then same old story. I'm sure Wagner won't let this be posted on their website, but everyone needs to know to not buy this.

I bought this for a quick job. The sprayer was recommended by store salesperson. I was disappointed that spraying latex paint ... even thinned splattered. I ended up using my my air sprayer. Hopefully I will find a use for the Wagner someday

Bought sprayer thinking I could save some time.I needed to paint
the entire inside and outside of a house I just remodeled,Gun worked about 45 seconds before it splatterd paint all over my new windows. Then the gun leaked all over my hand. After making sure everything was tight I tried the hose directly from the can,It leaked terrible.Made a real mess of everthing. I did not even bother to clean gun. By this time my co-worker had already finished rolling the other bedroom.Would not recomend this gun

What kind of oil do I have to buy for use when cleaning the machine? The book tells me cleaning oil but doesn't specify if it's just machine oil or a special one. And I can't seem to find it on Amazon.

Your website says that the Power Painter (not Project, Plus or Max) comes with a 6' pickup tube; unfortunately, I don't think this is true- but if it is, please may I have one, since mine didn't come with one...?!
So far I'm loving using it, but I'd love not to have to stop so often to fill up!
