This sprayer spit globs of paint if anything came out at all also leaks. After cleaning, lubing and using a thinner paint the unit did not preform any better. A big waste of my money, we had to use rollers and brushes to finish the project.
Consnoisy, leaks, spits globs of paint
No, I do not recommend this product.

We were painting our galvanized metal barn on a tight budget so we had brushes in mind, but when I bought paint, I noticed the sprayer for only $68 and decided to try your product. What would have likely taken us several days with brushes was completed in 2! We had no complaints other than we wish we would have bought the larger sprayer to hold more paint at one time. The one quart container didn't last long enough for us to get very far before refilling, but that's not a product issue. That's us needing the bigger sprayer. It's on my wish list! Oh, we had no leaking or sputtering. Worked like a charm!
Yes, I recommend this product.

bought a new 5.4 gpm sprayer for a basement ceiling project. It sprays poorly, i reduced the kilz primer almost 50% with water and flowtrol with no success. irrregular humm, sputter and splat. i cleaned it and started over several times and even changed the atomizer and lubed it. i threw it in the garbage after working with it for an hour or more of having no success. your product is not very good, in fact its junk. it does however spray water very well.

Tried using it on two different occasions with different paints and it would not work properly. It would spit out globs of paint and then nothing, then globs. It was a total mess. If you can't use normal paint in it what good is it?
Consspits and sputters

Sprayed fairly well at first. Before I completed my first project it began leaking. I checked everything over to make sure nothing had became loose or needed adjustment. It continued to leak. I stopped and "thoroughly" cleaned the unit as per instructions. Did not help. I have disassemled and cleaned and recleaned numerous times but everytime I try to use it it makes a mess and leaks all over. It was taking more time to clean the sprayer and clean up the mess than it would to just paint manually with a brush. By the time I decided this product was worthless the warranty had run out. My loss and yours. Will not buy another or recommend this product.
Proshandy if it works right.
Consleaks and is difficult to clean!

Your website says that the Power Painter (not Project, Plus or Max) comes with a 6' pickup tube; unfortunately, I don't think this is true- but if it is, please may I have one, since mine didn't come with one...?!
So far I'm loving using it, but I'd love not to have to stop so often to fill up!

I am sorry for the confusion that the wording on the website may have caused, but the Power Painter Plus does not come with the remote suction set. The remote suction set is an optional accessory and can be purchased through Wagner by contacting us at 1-800-328-8251.3 months, 1 week ago
What kind of oil do I have to buy for use when cleaning the machine? The book tells me cleaning oil but doesn't specify if it's just machine oil or a special one. And I can't seem to find it on Amazon.
