Okay, but not great
I purchased this painter for a small bathroom remodel. The gun worked great until the piston and housing were worn out after shooting only six gallons of latex (yes it was oiled between cleanings). I would give this painter a better rating BUT parts appear to be non-exsistent for this sprayer. Sorry Wagner, this product is a swing and a miss with regards to quality and support after the sale.

You get out of it what you put in.
I have read a lot of these reviews and compared them to my personal experience with the product I have to say it does the job very well. You need to understand your not just grabbing this tool off the shelf and loading it up with paint and shooting. Preparation is just as important (actually more important) then actually painting. Hot water and soap makes for an easy clean up. The device comes apart in a very logical manner and goes back together the same way. The coverage is great and yes you will get a quick splatter when you reach the end of the tank. But guess what, take your finger off the trigger, get a brush and wipe it. Not the end of the world. It dries without any difference of the rest of the piece.

Remote Suction Hose Accessory
I like the Power Painter Plus that I bought. I wanted to add the remote suction hose accessory so I ordered one, part number 0272910, which I was told would work with my machine. I tried to attach the hose(s) and none of the adapter retainers will work with the unit. What do you suggest I do to remedy this? What is the correct part number?

This product is worthless
Began painting a fence everything was going well went thru 1 gallon and started another one when product failed. Not enough paint getting through. Clean sprayer and it got worst. finally nothing came out. Cap to attach accessories broke. now I have another thing to add to the land fill.
Cannot find anyone who has a clue about what is wrong and ordering parts is cost prohibitive. Can by a competitors brand for !$10 more than the parts and shipping cost.

will not buy another one
i purchased this sprayer to paint my interior doors. i read the owners manual to learn to operate the sprayer.i followed the instuctions and even practiced spraying on other wood to find the right technique.the sprayer would spray good and all of sudden blobs of paint would be on my material.i kept paint container full and even thinned the paint hoping it would make a diffrence.i tried for awhile to get it right but no satisfing results. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!!!!!!

I have never used a device like this before but I do know what the end results should look like. This device works far above and beyond my expectations. The loading and dilution of the paint was very easy. The paint was the uniform thickness that I wanted, right from the very beginning. The clean up was almost as easy as the initial loading of the paint into the tank. This device, well, they perfected their product for the non-professional weekend warrior.

I was given a power painter that is at least five years old. My friend that gave it to me used it quite often and had no issues with it. After it sat in my shed and then a basement for almost three years I. Finally got to use it. I lubed it like the manual said before use and sprayed away. It was a learning curve with how much to thin the paint and it took a few cups to figure it out. Folks that complain about the globs . You need to turn the amount of material your trying. To spray ( yeah your not gonna get done as fast) and the one I have has two speed settings the slow setting seems to work the best while the flow setting is two clicks from all the way wide open. I have used Wagner products in the past and always had the same results...
Is there a difference in the atomizer tips? The gun has two that it came with, but is either one okay to use?

For a reasonably priced paint sprayer this is exceptional.
I have the Wagner wide shot power sprayer. When I get blobs of paint it is because the paint is too thick or the swirl valve needs to be replaced. I have a cedar home as well as a cedar cottage and this one sprayer has been used to maintain both for the last 3 years. Two swirl valves come with the sprayer and I need to order a new one. The order desk has been most helpful as well as giving me good advice
