The Group Lead Person is a Production position. Working with Medium to Heavy assembly (automotive, motors, compressors, etc). This position works from shop work orders, oral instructions, production schedules, and specifications. Also direct, assign, and instruct employees assigned to the department/line. Detect faulty material; report errors in design and dimensional characteristics of part to proper supervisor.
Experience: Lean Manufacturing, 2+years in a leadership capacity in a Medium to Heavy assembly. Fork truck license required.
NOTE: Overtime may be required.
