Overview
The Wagner Control Spray Plus uses HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure) air power technology to spray thin materials such as stains, sealers, urethanes, varnishes, and lacquers. It features an indoor/outdoor rated air turbine for a continuous flow of material and air producing a professional fine finish whether staining your woodworking project, refinishing your kitchen cabinets or staining your deck. Use indoor or outdoor.
A three position air cap adjusts the spray pattern for either vertical fan, horizontal fan, or round pattern shapes to most effectively get the job done quickly and with the best even coverage. Material flow is easily controlled with the variable trigger allowing the user to spray 1/2 inch wide to 10 inch wide patterns. Sets up in less than 5 minutes and cleans up in less than 10 minutes.

Great product
I found this product easy to use and quite a time saver.
My only issue was having to thin latex. Rather than thin,as recomended,I would prefer to pour the paint into the cup ... and spray !

Best product at this price point (and beyond)
This paint gun is amazing. The first time I used it I was on a very cold and windy day and I just wanted to get a base coat down on a bench I was making. I barely had any overspray and I was able to control my paint even in the wind. It took me a few passes to get the hang of how to handle the gun to get the result I wanted and once I did, I finished the bench in less than 5 minutes. I love the precision that I can get with this gun and also the spray patterns for the different pieces that I make and paint. The clean up process is the easiest I have ever done and I have used different guns over time. I also love the fact that I can switch to another color immediately therefore making light work of two different projects at the same time. Excellent product.

Big Time Saver Staining Deck
We recently replaced our 700sqft wooden deck. Building the deck was quiet a task, but staining it was perceived an even bigger task. But that was before I began using the Wagner Control Spray Plus HVLP Low Overspray System, Model# FS2400, that I purchased just for this job despite advice against spraying. Using a spray on/brush in technique, the stain went on in significantly less time than brushing, and brushing in worked the stain into the surface of the wooden deck. The FS2400 is easy to use and clean but does require a learning curve for applying a consistent spray. Very pleased with the decision to purchase this sprayer.

Works Great For Fine Woodworking Finishes
I have used the Wagner Control Spray Plus for about 2 years to spray water-based lacquer onto guitars. The finish must be flawless and to my delight, the Wagner does the trick for far less money than a pro-level HVLP system. I plan to purchase the same sprayer when my current one wears out, but even after almost daily use, it works like it did the day I bought it.

Sprayer was very easy to use.
The sprayer worked much better than I thought it would, not great, but pretty good. As I was painting 12 doors, both sides, I would have liked a wider spray pattern to help eliminate gaps in the coverage. Also, dried paint would collect on the tip and then shoot onto my work until I learned to wipe it off every minute or 2. I shot unthinned latex so perhaps that was my problem.
The unit cleaned up quickly and easily and was ready to go every day that I used it.
It's been 2 weeks since I finished the job and the inside of my right thumb is still numb from gripping the handle. I used a Graco airless for 10 years and that never happened to me.

Great value and easy to use
I had one minor problem with the unit when it arrived (filter cover was broken) but after letting service know about it, I received a new part within a couple of days. It was fun and easy to use and would not hesitate to buy another if needed.

Easy clean up
Used it last week to paint two new lawn chairs with latex paint. Very even finish, little overspray and quite easy to use. Clean up wasa breeze, nothing like the old Wagner with a piston that was a real mess.

I need to repaint my kitchen cuboards which are flat cuboards and stairs, wood deck, and some fence. What do you think would work the best all around? Thank you for any input. I have never used a spray gun before, but lots of experience with a brush and roller!
