Overview
The Wagner Control Spray Double Duty uses HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure) air power technology to spray thin materials such as stains, sealers, urethanes, varnishes, and lacquers. It features a two stage indoor/outdoor rated air turbine for a continuous flow of material and air producing a professional fine finish whether staining your deck or refinishing your kitchen cabinets. Use indoor or outdoor.
A three position air cap adjusts the spray pattern for either vertical fan, horizontal fan, or round pattern shapes to most effectively get the job done quickly and with the best even coverage. Material flow is easily controlled with the variable trigger allowing the user to spray 1/2 inch wide to 9 inch wide patterns. Sets up in less than 5 minutes and cleans up in less than 10 minutes.

HAD TO STAIN 13PCS 5-1/2" WIDE BY 16FT. LONG SOLID OAK DENTIL CROWN. THE FIRST LENGHT TOOK ME 50 MIN. (BY HAND) BECAUSE OF THE DENTIL MOULDING ON THE CROWN.EACH OF THE REMAINING 16FT. LENGTHS ,TOOK ME NO MORE THAN 30 SECONDS TO GET THE STAIN ON THE CROWN,AND MAYBE 10 MORE MINUTES TO SPREAD WITH A BRUSH. AND THAT WAS ON THE LOWEST SETTING.I AM VERY IMPRESSED. I JUST WISH I HAD BOUGHT ONE SOONER. I OWN A KITCHEN AND BATH COMPANY AND WOULD HAVE SAVED A TON OF TIME!!! ABSOLUTELY WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT. TOM

I bought this unit to spray Kilz Stain Remover on the basement walls in a storage area. It worked perfectly and clean up was fast and simple. This is the second Wagner spray unit I've had and I have NO complaints about the quality workmanship or the end results of using the sprayers. I highly recommend this product...you won't regret it!.

used it to spray bifold doors.. took awhile to get use to it and its performance.. yes lots of overspray no matter what you do.. not sure about using this in the house, since i did the doors in the garage, and everything is covered with overpsray.. so unless you have everything covered in pastic, then i suppose it would be ok.. the little white filters had to be cleaned the first time. it says to replace with new ones but i just washed then in soapy water..
Proslite and easy to handle
Consplastic trigger is very weak

This was my first time using a sprayer and I see myselft using this for all my staining and varnishing needs. After a few adjustments and practicing on cardboard (I recommend that you not skip this step) to get the flow of stain adjusted to my liking. I stained 250 sq ft. ceiling in about an hour. Prep was important as I was tossing stain upwards. I used 12" poly pre-tape the walls from the ceiling down and a bunch of drop cloths covering the entire floor. That took about an hour. Clean up was pretty simple. I'm not a big fan of solvent clean up #usually buy throw away products# but there are very few parts to flush with mineral sprits which was nice. I repeated the process twice the next two days with a 1 hour varnish for a smooth finish. No drips or runs. Nice!

I've used the product but once since I purchased it. It seems like a well designed unit for the home user. I used it to spray both sides of 1/2 dozen interior doors with latex enamel. I thinned the paint as much as the manufacturer recommended and it was still thicker than the sprayer instructions showed as optimum. It worked fairly well but I had to go over several times for complete coverage. The sprayer was easy to handle and functioned well even with the heavier paint. I'm sure a paint that can be thinned to to the sprayers specifications would work quite well. I was happy with the final result. The unit was fairly easy but a bit tedious to clean
